2nd Post: Is it Halloween already??

Nah.... LOL But I am getting a head start on my Halloween cards! hehe

Simply Betty is releasing six vampy vampire images today! I always think of Halloween whenever I see vampires, hear of them, and such. Of course, these new images can be used for anything!

I used Jazzy on my card. Can you tell her hair is a little greenish? I added a little green after I colored it with black and gray....to match her outfit! LOL

Well, this is my first Halloween card so far! Hope everyone enjoys looking at it and maybe get inspired to start making some too! Thanks for spending some time with me in my crafty little place!

LLWWC45 - TRY SOMETHING NEW

Hi..............

It's time for La La Weekly Wednesday challenge! I am hosting this week and I chose TRY SOMETHING NEW as the theme! We all have something we wanted to try but haven't gotten the time to, right? Well, this is the perfect time to try it!

I have never made a suspension card so here it is! Well, I actually attempted to make on a long while back but never had the time to finish it! It's pretty cool! I like how it spins! hehe I used two different images so I actually made two cards..in one! LOL I was having lots of fun spinning it!

I kind of followed the sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch. I used Banjo Maya and Happy Maya on this card. I used a thin twine, thought about a floss but I was too lazy to go to the restroom to get some!

This week's featured stamp is Banjo Maya! She is 20% of the regular price, good through next Tuesday! You can get her at our online store!

For more inspiration, please check out our BLOG! You won't want to miss what my fellow teammates came up with!

Have a happy Wednesday, everyone! Thanks so much for visiting!

London!

Such a cool name for this girly! London is one of the gangs from the My Kids Emo World collection over at Simply Betty. I am having a blast playing with all these awesome images!

I basically made this card from scraps with the sketch from Friday Sketchers. Sentiment is by Inkadinkado.
Don't forget the sale is still going on at Simply Betty! But hurry, it ends tomorrow, 11:59pm PST!

Weekends always seem to go by so fast for me! I haven't even started looking at my to-do list and it's Monday again! Where does the time go??!!!

Linda gave us a theme for June and it's to add some of our "favorites" on the card. My fave colors are pink and purple so here is my card for mama! I made an easel card with a little pocket for a few stamped images. This card is a little bigger than my usual cards. It's 6x6.

I bought the butterfly from that scrapbook show I went a couple of weeks ago. I got a bunch.

Hope you like this card, Mama! For anyone who is interested in making friends and swapping cards, you can still sign up for July HERE.

Helo, hello!!

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely Sunday! I kiddies are napping at the moment so I get to play a little. hehe

Here is a card I made a couple of days ago following the sketch over at Club Anya and Friends, using Sassenach Anya. I bought this girly a long while back but just haven't have the time to play with her. I used my new Basic Grey paper for this card. I also used one of my crocheted flowers here.

Anyway, gotta run! I want to finish my DT cards before my kiddies wake up form their nap! Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

LLWWC#44 – White

Hello! Are you ready for another fun La La Land Crafts challenge! I am so ready because this week, Jane, has a really awesome, cool challenge for everyone! Jane is challenging us to use all white on our card except for the stamped image! I’ve never tried this and after I did, I love it! As Jane puts it, it’s so refreshing, so clean!

See? I am on a roll with Christmas cards! LOL I used Winter Lala on this card. I thought a shaker card would look really nice on white. I used polar white flower soft as snow. Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I love their sentiments…if only I have a little extra for more! I do have eyes on a few sets!

Jane used Happy Maya on her card which means she is 20% of the regular price! Be sure to grab her at our online store before next Tuesday!

Alrighty, my friends. I do hope you can find some time and come play along with us! We would love to see your take on this fun challenge! Don’t forget to check out our BLOG for more amazing inspiration from my fellow teammates!

Babies Are A Blessing

Happy Tuesday! I didn't call in sick after all! LOL My sore throat kind of went away but I got a cold now! Oh no! The fever is next!!! Ahhhhh..... Let's hope not!

Anyway, this was one of the cards I finished this last week. This was a custom order card for a co-worker. I was suppose to get this done like a month ago! She really needs it this week so I had to finish it. LOL

My co-worker loves how I used buttons on my creations so I used a bunch here. hope she likes it!

Okie dokie, that's all for now. Please came back tomorrow for my La La Land Crafts post! You don't want to miss it because it's a fun challenge! It's something I haven't never tried and I LOVE it after I tried it!

Surprise Candy!

Hello! Did everyone start the week nicely? Mine is okay, no work yet. I don't go back to work until tomorrow.

I feel like something is coming down because my throat is hurting. Usually when my throat hurts, the cold, the fever follow. I hope I am not getting sick! Hmmm...it's not such a bad idea to call in sick tomorrow. LOL I could use a little rest... Okay, with two little ones at home, no rest!

Anyway, I really need to drop off a few things at the post office so I decided to do another secret/surprise candy before I go. From my last post's comments, I used the random generator and I got #2 and that is DONNA MIKASA! Woohoo, girl! Congrats! Can you please email me your addy asap so I can send this Birthday Sentiment set to you! The sentiment set is by Amy R. Stamps.

I was determined to get a fet things done this past weekend so yeah, you guessed it, I stayed up late! Way late...so late my father in law actually told me to go to bed! I'll have to definitely try to go to bed early this week.

Anyway, I have this Cupckae Mouse colored up a couple of weeks ago and thought why not give it a home! For this card, I followed the sketch over at Oh, Alice! I thought this sketch is pretty cool! The sentiment is by Hero Arts. My pile of scraps is getting big again so I had to use some of them for this card!

Anyway, my kiddies woke up from their naps already so got to go! Thanks for always stopping by!

Challenges:
KLSN: Let's Get Shabby
Paperplay: Something Old. My Hero Arts stamp set is old.

All About BUTTONS!

Hello my dear wonderful blogging friends! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far!

It has been almost a week since I posted! Wow! Well, my last post was on Wednesday but technically, I last posted on Monday. My last two posts were scheduled. Anyway, I was trying to get to bed earlier but I guess I am already used to going to bed late so yeah, I am still going to be late. Not good.... I didn't craft, I was surfing the net and was kind of waiting for the time to pass...

Anyway, can you tell I am trying really hard to work on my Christmas cards? :D I know, I said I would make at least one a week but I just couldn't! So forget about that, I'll just make one whenever I can! LOL

The theme for Farm Fresh this week is BUTTON IT. I saw this button wreath on a magazine a while back so I decided to make one...on my card! Yeah, I was kind of eager to use up my pack of $1 buttons from Michael's. LOL Since Your Next Stamp ask for buttons, this card is perfect for it!

Oh, if you look closely, besides the buttons from Michael's, I recycled some from my shirts. The ribbon is recycled too....from Coach.

Anyway, thanks a bunch for stopping by today! Come back soon because I have a little surprise for you guys! Shhh...it's a secret!!

Summer Time Sandals

This week's theme at Meljen's Designs is FIBER, RIBBON, LACE! Can you believe it? I actually forgot to check the current theme before making my card! Luckily, yarn is consider fiber!

Anyway, Meljen's Designs is releasing FIVE summer themed images this week! There are no packs this week, just singles. I used Summer Time Sandals on my card. I printed it three times...popped the sandal once, and the popped the flowers on the sandal. I decided to try something different on my card this time. I have the image inside the card instead. Well, not really inside as you can see. I used one of the crocheted flowers I made. The sketch is from Paper Sundae.

Be sure to check out my teammates' awesome creations at Meljen's Designs!

La La's Embossing Challenge

Where does the time go? It's Wednesday again! Well, that means it's La La Weekly Wednesday Challenge! We are on challenge #43 already! Wow!

Maureen is our hostess this week and the theme is EMBOSSING (any kind)! It must be summer, the heat because I haven't really been in much of a mood to craft! I feel so lazy all the time! Anyway, I did manage to work on my DT cards though. Thank goodness for that; otherwise, I wouldn't be crafting at all! Yes, it's that bad!

Maureen used Beach Lala on her card which means, she is 20% off this week! Check it out at our online store!

For this card, I simply embossed with my embossing folder. LOL I also used an embossed cardstock. I don't know what I was thinking...to get a pack of embossed cardstock! I mean, I have tons of embossing folders! I can do it myself! LOL Anyway, I used Summer Bill and Maya on this card. I followed the sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch. I am also entering this for Diedrich Dare, a summer photo inspiration challenge.

Hop over to La La Land Crafts and check out my teammates' wonderful creations! Have a fabulous Wednesday everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Lili's Ice Cream

Hello! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I want to share this adorable Lili's Ice Cream with everyone! Seriously? Don't you think she's just the cutest? I mean, she is as sweet as can be and if you look at her closely, you will notice she has a little tongue! Too cute! Too sweet! She is part of Inky Impressions' newest release, by the way.

I am currently working on my blog...moving stuff around...so if it looks weird to you, don't worry, it's not your eyes! LOL I am working on it slowly because first, I am not good with the computer, second, I don't have a lot of time, third, I am....well, a procrastinator! LOL

Okie dokie, that's all I have for now. Thanks for stopping by!

So Sparkly!

Yes, this card is super sparkly! :D

Hello all my wonderful blogging friends! Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weekend!

I am slowly trying to use up my colored images. The last couple of weeks, I was having a ball coloring up a bunch of Tilda images! Tilda's are so fun to color!

For this card, I followed the sketch over at Just Magnolia. I have to admit, I am not used to adding some many flowers to my cards. I love to see cards with lots of embellishments, details but my usual style is "not too plain, not too much". But I got to tell you, I actually like how this one came out! It's kind of bulky but I like it! :D

I am also entering this one for the BLING Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash challenge; Cupcake Craft for DAZZLE US ; A Spoonful of Sugar, FLORAL DELIGHT; Simon Says Stamp for RECIPE: 1 image, 2 patterned papers, and 3 embellishments; Prairie Fairy for GLITZ and GLITTER; Stamp Something for HAPPY SOMETHING.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me and and kids. We are going to a friend's housewarming party and then if time permits, to grandma's.

Thank you all for stopping by!

A Proud Little Poodle!

Hey gang!

Okay, so it's getting late here again so I am going to keep this post short. I am hoping and trying to get in bed by 11:00. :D

I decided to play with this Prancing Poodle from Meljen's Designs again. I am not much of an animal person but I like this image alot! I followed the sketch over at Mojo Monday.

By the way, Meljen's Designs new challenge, SPARKLE, GLITTER, BLING is up. Check it out! TTFN!

BLUE Challenge

Hello my awesome blogging friends! :D

It's time for our La La Weekly Wednesday challenge! My dear friend, Lisa is our hostess this week and she has chosen BLUE! As long as your creation is mostly blue and used at least one La La Land Crafts image, you are in for a chance to win $10 credit toward your purchase at our online store!

Lisa used GARDEN ROSIE which means she's 20% this week!

I decided to use Summer Lucky for my card. I tend to use more girly images most of the time so for a change, this adorable puppy it is. :D Oh, have I ever mentioned to you guys that my mom's dog's name is Lucky? I brought him home back in 1995 I think. Yeah, he's pretty old now. This little pup looks just like him too!

Like the water? I got the idea from Lisa! Lisa's creations are always so wonderful, so inspiring!

Alrighty, my friends. I do hope you can find some time to play along with us! Don't forget to check our my teammates amazing creations at La La Land Crafts!

Just Magnolia Lace Border Challenge

I am suppose to be in bed right now but here I am sharing this Tilda card I made for the Just Magnolia challenge. I haven't played along their challenges in ages! I've never tried adding a lace border around my images so this is my first time! Please do tell me what you think! Too feminine? Too much? I tried to keep it as plain, as clean, as simple as I could already. This awesome sketch is from There She Goes.

Not sure if anyone noticed but I have been adding some stitches here and there. The mini Pixie Plus sewing machine is not the greatest machine but it does the job! I mean, it is a mini machine for crafting! LOL For sewing, I am sticking with that huge one in the garage!

Okay, off to bed now. :D Have a great one, everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Miss Anya

Happy Tuesday, Everyone! Ahh....a start of another work week for me! It's going to be a busy week for me since I need to get all the court reports ready for this Friday's Adoption Day....

do you know what I've noticed? Besides my DT cards, a majority of my cards are made with The Greeting Farm images! It's a good thing since I do love their images! The bad thing....well, I need to play with my other stamps as well and not just let them sit and collect dust! LOL

I am entering this card for CPS and The Diedrich Dare. I used my new scallop border die. You like?? :D

Thanks for visiting! Totally appreciate you all!

Monday Mania With ...ME!

Yup, I am hosting this week's challenge over at Club Anya and Friends! I was so excited when I got an email from Amy asking me to host today's challenge! It is such an honor! You all know how much I LOVE The Greeting Farm!

What's the challenge? Your mission is to ALTER A RECYCLED 3D ITEM! I love to see everyone's wonderful card creations but I love seeing 3D items even more! So for this challenge, I would love to see a recycled 3D item! Why recycle? Because I have a lot of containers, containers I have kept from stuff I bought. Sometimes I even buy things because of the pretty packaging! LOL

Think of this challenge as 'anything but a card' with something recycled. It doesn't have to be a container, such as a baby wipe tub, empty chocolate box, or a bottle that you are recycling. It can simply be a button from a shirt, a ribbon from a present... anything as long as something is recycled on your project.

I hope everyone finds some time to play along! I would love to see what you guys come up with!

First up, I have this chipboard container laying around forever so I altered into a gift card set!

I altered it with My Mind's Eyes papers along with Fleur Anya. Since there is a opening on the front, I sealed it and made it into a shaker!

Here is the whole set.

Next, I have this roasted pea can to alter.
I stamped different Anya's in Cocoa ink. No coloring needed!
Viola! A candy bouquet! I made this one for my nieces birthday last week! She LOVED it!

Alrighty, hope everyone enjoyed looking at my project and can't wait to see what you come up with! Thanks a million for stopping by!
