The Greeting Farm Blog Hop!

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

The Greeting Farm is one of my favorite stamp companies so I just have to join in this fun hop! Although I had wanted so bad to create a project for each of the categories, but I just couldn't find time to finish all! I did get two done though! :)

This first one is for the Santa category. This project was inspired by my daughter's hair clips. My daughter has very thin, fine hair so she uses a lot of clips. It doesn't matter how many clips I used to clip up her hair, she looses them within an hour of two!

Anyway, here is an altered vanity box using the recently released Santa baby from the the Cheeky Xmas set. I sprayed the whole box with shimmer mist so this is very sparkly.

Here are some clips. I used frosted shrink plastic. I usually color shrink plastic with colored pencils but this time, I used Copic. I didn't think it would work but it did! Love it! These are super fun and easy to make!

This project is for the treat category. Recently I noticed my son likes Thomas and Friends. A couple of weeks ago, he came to me with a Toys R Us ad and told he he wanted a Thomas and Friends backpack! I thought that was cute, how he knows what he wants when he's only two. Well, besides the backpack I got him a Thomas and Friends wooden railroad set for Christmas. as well He is going to be so surprised!
Anyway, this project was inspired by that blue train! I had lots of fun making this train but boy was it time consuming! I didn't have a template for it so it was trail and error type of thing. I LOVE how this train turned out!
This train has ten passengers, excluding Mr. Snowman. Here is one side of the train.

Here is the other side of it.

Here is what it looks like once you open the lid to the engine. The part holds the candy is approx. 2.75x2.75x5.

Mr. Snowman in the front!

I used my round nesties and 2-inch circle punch...

Here is what it looks like when you open the box car. More candies.... This train holds about 60-70 mini candy canes.

Well, that's all I have to share today! Hope everyone enjoys looking at my projects! Enjoy the hop!

Sparkle creations challenge #21

Hello!

This week's challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps is a photo inspiration.

I used Cafe Lucy on my card. Even though I had a few days off for Thanksgiving, I really didn't have much time to craft. So for this card, I simply stamped Cafe Lucy on kraft paper and made her stand out a little without colors. This is my second time making a card with our coloring and I really like how it turned out.

I kept this card pretty simple....because I was rushing to get it done. LOL

For more inspiration, don't forget to visit our blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by, everyone!

Lollipop Crafts challenge #17: Reading

Happy Cyber Monday, Everyone! For those of who missed Black Friday, you can still get some good deals today! LOL

I thought I had time to check out a few stores on Black Friday but didn't. I went to two only. hehe I was mainly at Toys R us, which was PACKED! I waited over half an hour in line just to pay for my stuff! I should've gone the night before! LOL But then again, I bet it was crazier than Black Friday!

Anyway, today is another fun challenge at Lollipop Crafts! Barbara is our hostess this week and she chose READING as the theme. She would like to see creations with anything related to reading. We don't have a sponsor this week but Barbara is offering a little surprise to a random winner. Please check out Lollipop Crafts for more details!

For today's card, I used one of my new The Greeting Farm stamps I bought a loooooong while back, so long that I don't even know the name of it anymore! I used Mercy's sketch over at Farm Fresh Friday this week. Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Be sure to visit Lollipop Crafts blog for more inspiration!

Thank you all so much for stopping by today! Hope everyone have a great week!

Today I have this fun gift bag to share! I used Super Cupcake Marci. She's a cutie, isn't she?

This bag measures 5x7x1.75. It's a pretty good size, perfect for a lot of stuff. I might be making more of these for Christmas....if time permits, that is.

Let's Get "KRAFTY"

Hi!

Can you guess what's the theme over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps? :) Yup, KRAFT! The theme is to use kraft on your creation!

I think this is the second time I ever stamped and colored on kraft paper. The first time was earlier this year, when I was at the CHA Super Show. For this card, I used Cafe Lucy and colored her with Copic. One tip if you are going to stamp on kraft paper: Use darker colors. If you use light colors, the colors won't show much.

I added lots of diamond stickle on the edges. This card looks much more sparkly than this picture. I am still practicing on how to take better pictures. My photography skill is just ....sucks! LOL

This is a Cute Card Thursday sketch. I don't remember what company this pretty paper is by because this was the last small piece I had. Sentiment is by Fiskar.

Alrighty, gang. Hope you can play along with us! Please stop by our blog and check our my teammates' awesome creations!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge: Christmas

Hello, hello!

It's Monday and it's time for another GREAT Lollipop Crafts challenge! This week, Alanna is our hostess and the theme is CHRISTMAS! Our sponsor this week is Limited Runs. Nikki generously provided our team with a few cute digis to play! Thank you so much, Nikki! One random winner gets THREE digis of choice from Limited Runs.

I used Snowman Cupcake on this card. Oh guess what I learned while making this card? Well, I don't use liquid applique too often and each time I used it, I wait until it dries up before heating it. Because I totally forgot to work on this card and had to make it the very last minute, I went ahead and heat it while it was still wet. I didn't think it would work but it did! The texture is different but I like it! I tell you, we learn something new everyday!

The sketch is by Sweet Sunday Sketch. I used my leftout K&Company papers. I added a little stckle on Mr. Snowman.

I know a lot of you are making Christmas cards right now so why not add your link to Inlinkz at the Lollipop Crafts blog and have a chance at winning some adorable digis from Limited Runs!

For more inspiration on our Christmas challenge, head over to our blog and check out our team's wonderful creations!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, everyone! Have a great week!

For You!

Hey, hey!

It has been a while since I play along Card Patterns. I know, shame on me! I love their sketches and I used to play along really often! Well, life has been hectic and plus, I still haven't been in much a mood to create. :(

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps is sponsoring Card Patterns this week so I thought I'd play along. It's a really cool sketch so I do hope everyone can play along with me! You could win two Sparkle Creation stamps!

Here is my card featuring Charlotte With Rose. I LOVE this stamp! I colored Charlotte with Copic. Papers are by Brazill and Basic Grey's Jovial. I hand wrote the sentiment.

The Holiday is upon us and I have a million and one things to do! I seriously do not know where to begin but I gotta start somewhere, right? LOL So off I go! Happy Creating!!!

Birthday Chipboard Album

Happy Friday, everyone!

Nov. 19th only!! 20% off on all Marci, Luka and panda rubber stamps. Digis are excluded.

First of I want to remind you that today we are having a BIG SALE on all Marci and Luka, all stamp sets plus the cute panda!! Today and ONLY TODAY! They are all 20% off (excluding digis). Don't let this great deal pass! Have fun shopping!

On to my post....
After checking out the Cinch at the Scrapbook Show last month, I was in the mood to make albums! LOL I didn't get the Cinch at the show but it did inspire me to create this album!

The album itself didn't take me long to finish but using a single hole puncher to punch these holes was a pain! Now that I've completed this album, I ordered myself a Cinch! LOL I guess I do things in reverse. LOL I haven't tried the Cinch yet but I am sure it's way better than a single hole puncher!

Anyway, I thought it would be a cool idea to have a little book of all my friends' birthdays. These books are handy. I keep books of everything. hehe

This book measures 5 x 8 1/2 inches. I used Marci and Luka images..plus the little adorable panda.

For the cover, I used Marci With Rose.

January: Sweet Dreams Marci

February: Winter Marci

March: Panda
April: Marci With Rose
May: Birthday Marci
June: Star Boy Luka

July: Super Cupcake Marci

August: Marci With Rose
September: Pirate Luka

October: Pumpkin Marci

November: Ice Skating Marci
December: Birthday Marci

So what do you think? Pretty cool, huh? I wasn't thinking so I repeated a couple of Marci's. I had really wanted to use a different image for each month.
Hope everyone likes my little project! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello, friends!

Today we have a great challenge for you at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! We are thankful everyday but especially November because of Thanksgiving. For this week's challenge, we would like to see a GIVE THANKS creations. You can create a Thanksgiving card, a thank you card...as long as it fits the theme.

For my card today, I used Cupcake Ruby. We are sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches and their theme is to use cupcakes so I killed two birds with one stone! LOL

I colored Ruby with Copic. I used LOTS of stickle on the frosting.

Wanna see more thankful creations? Check out my teammates' at Sparkle Creations! You won't be disappointed because they are fantastic!!

Have a fabulous day, everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by!

A Very Girlie Challenge at Lollipop Crafts!

Hello! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! Mine was very unproductive! The weekend went by so quick that I didn't get to do practically anything! I did however do a little Christmas shopping...mainly for my nieces and nephews. I had to take advantage of the Friends and Family sale at the Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy. LOL I love shopping at Baby Gap for my kids.

This week at Lollipop Crafts, we have a VERY GIRLIE challenge! Fairy Knoll is this week's sponsor and they generously provided our team with a few digis to play with!

For my card today, I used Birthday Balloon Girl. I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. The sketch was fairy easy to follow but for some reasons, it took me hours to get this card done right! I guess my mojo is still on vacation. LOL

For real, I haven't been creating much this past week. I did get a few other things done though....such as: I finally created my Etsy account and I crocheted a few Santa's hats. Hopefully, I will get a chance to add some items to my Etsy store soon. As for the Santa's hats, I made three when I went to Vegas. I didn't need to drive and my kids were way too much into their video so I had to entertain myself while in the car. LOL So far, I have five hats done. I am also working on little stuff here and there. I will share all these soon!

Anyway, for more inspiration, please check out my team's creations at Lollipop Crafts!

Have a fabulous week, everyone!

Happy Friday!

Psst! Wanna know the secret to making a quick fancy fold card? :D It's simple! When you make one, make a few extra card bases for future use! LOL They come in handy and it will saves you a lot of time the next time you want to make one!

For my double side step card today, I used one of my ready-to-finish card bases. I paired Winter Marci with my recently bought jovial paper pad. Love these papers! I colored Marci with Copics, my favorite coloring medium!

This card measures 5x7.

Got some La La Land Crafts image cards to share? Well, don't forget to add them to our CUSTOMER GALLERY! You might just be our next Customer Appreciation winner!

Thank you so much for stopping by, everyone! Have a great weekend!
