Sparkle Creations Challenge #105: Color Combo

Hello!

It is time for Sparkle Creations challenge!  We have a color challenge for you to play with!

I used New Year Emily on this card.  She's called New Year Emily but she's suitable for all occasion cards or projects!  As you can see, I used Emily for a Birthday card! One of the things I love about Sparkle Creations stamps is that all the images are so easy to color!  Plus, they are so versatile!

I colored Emily with Copic markers.  I added stickles to her headband.  For the flower, I used three Recollection orange flowers and stacked them up.  I secured them with a silver brad.  I like fuller flowers so you rarely see my cards with just one single flower.    I distressed the flower with Cat's Eye chalk ink and then added star dust stickle to the edges.

The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

I pierced the edge of the pattern paper with a tracing wheel.  I love to use it for my cards!  It's one of my favorite tool!

We would love for you to play along with us!  For more inspiration, please visit our blog!

Updates...

Mom's surgery went well.  She is currently recovering in the surgical ICU.  She is in a lot of pain but she is otherwise doing fine.  Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers!

I have no party planned for the little guy's first birthday.  I bought everything for it and was suppose to have it this last Sunday.  I cancelled it because I don't feel right having a party (not exactly a party since it would only be my family) while mom is in the hospital.  Plus, the little guy got sick on Friday.  He is doing fine now but he did pass the fever onto his brother!  So yeah, I still got a sick baby in the house!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a fabulous week!

Your card is very attractive. I love your tip about the tracing wheel. I will have to search for my old one or buy another. Hope your family is getting healthy.
