Sparkle Creations Challenge #74: Number Challenge

Hellloooooo.....

So yesterday was nice and sunny here in Los Angeles but today, raining dogs and cats! This is one of the reasons why everyone is sick! Everyone in my family is now sick. :( I thought I was getting better but nope...and I am afraid to take anything! What can I take for a cold when I am pregnant anyway?

For the next two weeks, Sparkle Creations is having a NUMBER CHALLENGE! We are on to Challenge #74 already! Time flies for sure!

I intended to make this card for my son's 5th birthday, this December (I know, I am a little early) but totally I didn't realize this until AFTER I finished it! Do you see what's wrong with this card? LOL Yup, it says 4! LOL He turned 4 last December! But that's okay, I don't remember making him a card for his 4th birthday. You may not know but I try to make him a card each year for his birthday...just haven't given him any yet because I know he would tear it up real fast! I am keeping them for now. I will give them all to him when he's old enough to appreciate them. I got cards for my daughter too...

Anyway, I used Birthday Josh on this card and followed the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy.
Oh, gotta tell you guys a little something...hehe..I am terrible with remembering stamp names! I can never seem to remember each stamp names! I mean, I use some of my stamps pretty often but I still don't know their names! I think I have memory lost or something!

Papers used on this card are by K&Company. I used Diamond Glaze on the balloon....just wanted it to look a little shiny!

I wanted to keep this card as boyish as possible so I didn't want to used blings or flowers. Instead, I used my circle spellbinders, made two felt circles and adhered a glittered number 4 onto them.

For more inspiration, please visit our blog! Hope you guys can play along with us for a chance at winning a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp!

Oh before I go, which online place to shop the new Basic Grey papers, good low prices, of course? I didn't make it to the Scrapbook Expo this past weekend so I didn't get them (obviously. LOL).

Birthday Wishes

Hello! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

I didn't get to blog much the last week...or two. LOL I am getting bigger these days, plus I have been sick (a cold) the last few days. It all started with an irritated throat last week. I think I am getting better though.

Sparkle Creations is sponsoring Cupcake Inspiration this week. Here is a sweet yummy picture as an inspiration!

I was inspired by the cupcakes of course, and all the bright cheery colors!

Here is my take on the challenge. I used Cupcake Ruby on my card. I haven't used tulle on my creations in ages. I added this sparkly turquoise tulle, along with one of my handmade bead charm.

I am not sure if this is happening to some of you guys, but I can't seem to comment on some of the blogs! I am not sure what's going on! Also, word verification on some of the blogs are so difficult to read to me lately. Is it just me?? Sometimes after a couple of tries, I want to give up! It's tougher when I use my ipad....which I use to check everyone's blogs quite often.

Anyway, I have a few creations I need to post. I just haven't been able to lately...

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sparkle Creations February 2012 Preview: Wizard of Oz

Hello! Today at Sparkle Creations, we are previewing a Karber set, Wizard of Oz! I was trying to figure out what I could do with all four images and finally came up with these simple tags!

Once again, I used this pretty Basic Grey paper I used previously. I just wanted to finish the paper so I don't have more scraps added to my already huge pile! LOL I still have about half of a sheet left so you may be seeing it again! :)

Sparkle Creations February 2012 Preview: Leprechaun Oliver

I can't believe we are already in February! Where does the time go??? In just a few more months, baby #3 will be here...and we still haven't decided on the name yet! Does anyone have any suggestions on a cool baby boy name?

Today we start previewing our February stamps at Sparkle Creations! We are previewing Leprechaun Oliver today! When I was little, I always had to remember to wear green on St. Patrick's Day so I don't get pinched! LOL But as an adult, I never really celebrate this Holiday. I am not sure why...maybe I am not Irish? :)

For my card, I decided to go with this pretty Sweet Threads paper by Basic Grey. It's quite colorful so this card doesn't have to be for St. Patrick's Day. LOL

Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Leprechaun Oliver. Sparkle will be giving away Leprechaun Oliver to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (list below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Oliver post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced the following day!

Valentine's Day Card

Hello friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Today I am sharing my first ever Valentine's Day card for 2012! I don't know why I waited so long to make one! I mean, I LOVE hearts! Valentine's Day may not be my favorite holiday but I do love it...yes, because of all the hearts! LOL

I made this card for the Lollipop Crafts Challenge, which is to make Valentine's Day card. This is also my entry for The Greeting Farm's Saturday sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers and Monday Fun Day at Farm Fresh Challenge.

I used the most darling Blush Babette and the Blush Hello background from The Greeting Farm. Sentiments are by Hero Arts.

I haven't made an easel card in ages so here it is! When I first saw the sketch over at the Farm Fresh blog, I thought a little hidden pocket would be cool on this card.

Since there is a little pocket on this card, I thought a little tag would go along with it! I totally wasn't thinking that the little tag would be too bulky for the pocket! Oh well...

Here is a closer look at the tag. Amy gave me this little pretty yo yo. So pretty! Thanks again, Amy!

This set is for my February secret sister. The theme is HEARTS! So perfect, right? LOL I am working on other stuff to go with the card. Unfortunately, I don't have any more of the papers I used here. :( I usually try to match and coordinate a set but I guess not this time! LOL Hope my secret sister will like it anyway!

Well, that's all for now. Thank you all so much for stopping by!
