Fireman Luka

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY THE CRAFT'S MEOW "HAPPINESS IS" PREVIEW!

Okay, so there IS a reason why Luka's outfit is not clean. LOL You see, he has been working super hard putting out fires. :)

Okay seriously, I totally didn't realize I colored black first instead of yellow. I used colored pencil by the way. Since I didn't want to waste the image, I just put on a dirty outfit for Luka. hehe

I guess I need LOTS of more practice using Prisma colored pencils. LOL

Anyway, have a fabulous Friday, everyone!

Sparkle Creations Challenge: Photo Inspiration

Hi there!

This week at Sparkle Creations, we have this pretty picture as an inspiration challenge. Don't you just love the pink and purple? It's so girly!
Here is my take. I used Charlotte with Rose on this card. Once again, I did the "no coloring" technique. I LOVE this technique! LOL

I used a couple of my crocheted flowers. The purple flower is called the croco flower. This is my first time using one on my cards. I just recently learned how to make them. They are a little different than my usual six petal flowers. What do you think? Like it?

For more inspiration on this challenge, please visit our blog! Thank you for stopping by!

How to Add PERSONALITY to Your Creations!

hehe...let's get to that in a bit...

Today we have a fun challenge at Lollipop Crafts. Zulma is our hostess for the week and the theme is Shabby Chic or vintage.

Well, my card is not very vintage-y looking but I tried. LOL All I did was ink up the edges. LOL I was going to add some paint on the edges but changed my mind.

Which One Wednesday at TGF is a color challenge this week, NO PINK. I think I did pretty good with the challenge since I normally use a lot of pink. hehe Miss Anya looks mighty cute in blue too! LOL

So how to add personality to your creations? Why, adding a fun charm! Some people call it baubles or dangles. Whatever you call them, they do add a touch of bling, sparkle and for sure personality to any of your projects!

hehe You guess it! These charms are available at my Etsy Shop!

Well, that's all I have for now. Have a good one everyone!

Stickpins Available at My Etsy Shop!

Hello!

It has been a while since I inked up this adorable Fancy Dress Marci. I haven't played with my Hampton Artsy Edges stamps as well and I thought they would be perfect for Marci! Like it? I simply stamped it on the edges and voila! In case you are wondering about the corners, I used a ticket punch for them.

I used two of my handmade stickpins on this card as well. Notice anything "different" about the pins? I added a pierced earring backs! The end of the pin is very sharp so I thought one of these pierced earring backs could cover the needle point. This way for sure you won't accidentally hurt yourself! hehe That actually happened to me quite a few times. I accidentally poked (pricked) my finger. :(

Ooo....what are these???

Exactly! Pins! I've listed some of these on my Etsy shop! As I mentioned before, I am slowly adding stuff to my shop. I am even in the process of getting a new banner! Yay! Everything takes time and you all know how much time I have. LOL

Wanna know another fun way to use your buttons on your projects? Check this out! Button stickpins! Aren't these fun??

You can check some of these pins at my SHOP!

I am thinking since I do have quite a few things ready for the shop, I am going to list a new item each week....just something for you guys to look forward to! hehe I thought that's kind of fun too! Maybe when I am done "previewing" my stuff, I might have a SALE. hehe

Anyway, I do hope everyone have a fun Easter weekend! Thanks a bunch for stopping by today!

I finally used a couple sheets of patterned papers from Life of the Party paper pack by Basic Grey I got a couple of months ago. I tend to buy stuff forget about them. This is what happens when you don't have a lot of room. LOL

Well, I have more to share tomorrow. So be sure to come back!

Have a great one, everyone!

Christmas In April??

hehe...no! Time flies but we are still a few months away from Christmas! LOL

I haven't been keeping up with making my Christmas cards this year so on a spur of the moment the other night, I created this card!

Farm Fresh Friday this week is all about distressing. It's a fairly easy challenge so I just have to play along!

I colored this little Miss Anya a long while back with Copic. I followed the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

After I finished the card, I sprayed the entire card with gold Spray & Sparkle. This card is pretty sparkly.

Alrighty, that's all I have to share for now. I do hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Thank you for stopping by!

Make Your Own Embellishment!

This week's challenge at Sparkle Creations is to MAKE YOUR OWN EMBELLISHMENT. I have been making quite a few different embellishments lately. When I was making this card, I have all these ideas on using the different ones but look what I used in the end? Yup, just seam binding ribbon! LOL I bet you were expecting some sort of flowers! LOL

I made a bunch of these ribbons so I listed some on my Etsy store. Yes, your heard me right! I FINALLY decided to list some stuff there! LOL I created the account like last year and never did a thing to it! LOL There is not much stuff in the store yet but I am hoping slowly I can add some more. I actually made a whole bunch of stuff already. I just need some time to take pictures and list them. More on that later....

Today's card I used Rollerblading Chloe. Doesn't she look like she's having lots of fun? Too bad I don't roller blade otherwise I would totally join her!

Want a chance at winning a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp? I know you do! hehe Then you have got to play along our challenge! Can't wait to see what you create!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #35: A Sketch

Well, I am hosting this week's challenge at Lollipop Crafts. We don't have a lot of sketch challenges so this week, I have a sketch for everyone to follow!

I simply followed my own sketch and didn't twist it around too much. LOL

Our sponsor for the week is ROBYN'S FETISH. Our team were provided with a few adorable images to play with. I used TEA FOR TWO on this card.

Hope you guys can play with us! For more inspiration, please hop over to Lollipop Crafts!

Let's Pretend!

Have I ever mentioned how much Marci looks like my daughter? You probably hear this from a lot of people...not necessary just my daughter but perhaps your daughter, your granddaughter, your niece.... Marci just has that cute look that looks like every girl out there! For real! She is that adorable!

Today I used Dress Up Marci. Seriously, how cute is she?? My daughter is at the wanna-be-grown-up age now (at least I think she is). Yup, she gets a hold of my high heels and starts modeling around the house! Can you imagine me chasing her around the house trying to get her to take it off? LOL

I colored Marci with Copics. I added pearlized top coat smooch on Marci's pearl necklace. Sketch belongs to A Gem of a Challenge.

Did you file your tax? Today is the last day!

Well, that's all I have for now. Thank you so much for spending some of your crafty time with me! Have a great one, everyone!

Happy Birthday, Sparkle!

Today is a very special date at Sparkle Creations! It's not only our 37th challenge, it is also our lovely "boss'" 29th birthday! Happy Birthday, Sparkle! Wishing you a wonderful birthday and many many more to come! Enjoy your special day with your friends and especially with your hubby! :)

This week's theme at Sparkle Creations, it is to create a card/project with NATURALS WITH A SPLASH OF COLOR.

What's the best, easiest, fastest way to color an image with naturals? Why, no coloring, of course! LOL It makes the image pop too!

For this card, I stamped Cafe Lucy with Memento Rich Cocoa to sort of match the color of the patterned paper. Patterned paper is by Colorbok. It's actually a wedding collection pack. Bet ya can't tell! hehe

I used Cafe Lucy this week because Sparkle loves coffee. This is exactly why I love Sparkle Creations stamps! There is an image for all occasions!

This card is rather shimmery. I sprayed pearl shimmer mist all over this card! Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

I followed the sketch over at Unscripted Sketch. Sparkle Creations is sponsoring them this week so you get double the chance of winning a Sparkle Creation stamps if you play along with our challenge and follow their sketch!

Okie dokie, gang. That's all I have for you today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Altered Tissue Box

Helllloooooo! What have you guys been up to lately? As for me, I have been trying to balance my schedule and hopefully squeeze in more craft time. That of course has not been very successful. I am managing though...just have to sacrifice some zzzzzzz time. LOL

It has been a while since I made any 3D projects. Thanks to Zulma at Lollipop Crafts, I got one done! Yay! Zulma is the hostess of the week at Lollipop Crafts and she chose MAKE A BOX/GIFT as the theme.

I've wanted to alter a tissue box for the longest time with Magnolia stamps. Believe it or not, it took me well over a month to color these four images. I am so glad this tissue box is finally done!

Here is my finished product!

I colored the images with Copic mostly and the shadow with Prismacolored pencils. Papers are by Echo Park. This is another new collection I {heart}.

Although this tissue box took me a long while to finish, it actually didn't take too long to make it. I got the wooden tissue box from Joann's and adhered it with smooth texture chocolate coredinations paper. I then glued Echo Park patterned papers to each side and finished it off with Tilda images.

My intention was to make a matching desk set....for my desk at work. Now that I have the tissue box done, I need to work on the pencil holder, note holder, etc. I anticipate getting all these done a little at a time and hopefully by the end of the year.

I do hope you guys enjoy looking at my little project. Thank you so much for visiting today

Challenges:

Magnolia-licious: Easter Spring Extravaganza Contest
