More TGF Cares Cards

TGIF!!! Woohoo!! Well, it’s Friday night already! LOL

Here are the rest of the cards I made for TGF Cares Card Drive. Okay, so I made 15. It’s not a lot but at least I tried to make as many as I can considering I am a HUGE procrastinator! Plus, between work, home and the little ones, I really didn’t have much time to make a lot. These last four, I actually made them on Wednesday night. I stayed up until one in the morning….and then got up for work at 5! They are for a good cause so it’s worth it! :D

Thanks a bunch for visiting, my friends!

Sending Love Your Way

Hi, Everyone! Just one more work day! Yay! I don't have any plans for the weekend but just glad it's finally here! LOL I am so not a morning person! I can't say I have a hard time getting up in the morning but I know I don't want to get up before dawn! hehe I can at least get up two hours later on weekends!

Does anyone have plans, got anything interesting going on this weekend? Do share!

Speaking of sharing, here is a card I made last week for TGF card drive. I bought this new Martha Stewart border punch and so I just had to try it! Like it? :D Ooooo...I went to Michaels' after work today and they have a whole bunch of brand new ones! I told myself to be good though. I mean, I have tons of punches already! Let's see how long I can hold it! LOL

Can you believe it? I actually managed to make 15 cards for the Drive! I am amazed at myself! I wasn't aiming for the prize but more for a smile on the recipients' faces!

Just some interesting fact about me...hehe I make a donation (sometimes a couple times) a year to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. When I found out TGF is having a card drive for a good cause, I just have to get involved. I know I couldn't help much but at least I am hoping my cards can put a smile on someone's face!

Anyway, I have a few more TGF cards to share. I just need to upload them! LOL Until then, happy crafting!

Altered Embellishment Challenge

Time for our La La Weekly Wednesday Challenge! Maureen, our new Challenge Coordinator is our hostess this week and she is challenging everyone to use an existing embellishment and alter it! I must say, this was a tough one for me or my mojo was missing! LOL

I decided to just twist some rosettes with a ribbon. I think it counts since a ribbon is a embellishment. LOL I used Lotus on my card. I followed the sketch over at Stamp With Fun. I am submitting my card for Die Cut Dreams as well since their theme is to make your own flower.
Okay, so I know what everyone is waiting for...special of the week! Our featured stamp this week is BIRTHDAY CAKE MAYA! She is 20% of the regular price! You can get her as long with our other adorable images at our online store!
Enjoy shopping and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Going Green!

...okay, maybe just the color! LOL

Friday Sketchers has a great sketch so I decided to play along with Flower Lili from Inky Impressions. Oh, which reminds me, don't forget our recipe challenge is still going on! You still have time to play along with us!

Have a great one, everyone!

Meljen's Designs

Happy Tuesday!

I decided to take a day off from work. I was organizing my babies' clothes practically all day and still not done! Some of their clothes are too small for them now so I have to put them away.

My sister's neighbor is having a baby girl so I am giving my daughter's clothes to her. I have a huge bag ready so I just needed to call my sister to pick it up. Kids grow so fast!

Today I am sharing a card I made with one of Meljen's Designs freebie at PCP. I followed the sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I went ahead and ordered some refill for my Copics, skin tone colors. I can't believe they are all kind of dry already! Hopefully, they will arrive soon because now I can't color any people! Luckily, I colored some a while back so I will have a few to put on a card.

Hope everyone is enjoying the week so far! Thanks a bunch for checking in today! I totally appreciate all of you!

Mother's Day Gift Set

Mother's Day is just around the corner so I made this set for my mom. Thanks, Mama for a great challenge and a little push to get a head start with my Mother's day project! Mama is the hostess for this week's Monday Monia over at Club Anya and Friends. I just have to play along because I love 3D items! Yup, I am like Mama, a 3D person. I love seeing everyone's amazing cards but I love to see more than just cards. I am always amazed at what we can do with papers.
This set includes a purse (approximately 11 x 8 x 4, a real size purse), a mini accordion album (4 1/2 x 4 1/2), a wallet (4 1/2 x 4 1/2), and a card. I bought the purse template from a show show last year and never gotten around to it. I used 3 12 x 18 patterned papers by the way and it was barely enough.

The wallet, I basically used one of my wallet as a template. For the card, I followed the sketch over at Flutterby Wednesday and the sketch for the mini album is from Cute Card Thursday.

I had lots of fun putting this set together. I think I started on Thursday night. I finished all except the mini album last night. I worked on the album today, which it didn't take me long since I kept it pretty plain.

The complete set...

This is a mini accordin album....

....pictures of my babies...
The purse template is from Darcie's but I altered it a little because I didn't like the original handle.

This is the wallet... I still haven't set up my mini sewing machine so I hand-stitched this wallet. And boy, did it take me a long time!

I used velcro for closure but I think I'll use magnet next time....just to see the difference...

Well, I hope everyone enjoys looking at my project! I am still in the process of organizing my craft space so I am going to be MIA for a little....again. :D I am almost done with organizing my nesties. Can you imagine how many sets I was able to store in one of those plastic clear binders? I think well over 18 sets! Wow! I am also done with organizing my loose ribbons as well. I will try to take pictures of how I did them soon. There is still so much to do! Anyway...

As always, thanks a bunch for visiting! Have a great one, everyone!

Allsort: butterfly bracelet photo inspiration
Tamiko's: use nesties. I used several different nesties for my project

First Tent Card

Woohoo, weekend! Happy Saturday, everyone!

This past week has been a loooong one for me! Work was CRAZZZY! We had plumbing problem since last Friday (not yesterday but the Friday before) and we were unable to use the restroom in the building. We had to borrow the ones from across street and of all time, it was raining and drizzling here and there! Plus, my floor was affected the most and so we didn't get to work at our own desk for a few days and we couldn't get to our desk for work! We were all scattered around in different part parts of the building. Anyway, our office was back to business on Thursday but boy, was it a mess! The water went through the walls! So of course, they had to replace some dry walls and parts of carpet on a lot of cubicles. Things seem to be okay for now...

Anyway, time for a Bee Crafty challenge! :D The next two weeks, our theme is WHOLE LOTTA FUN! We would like to see some "HOLES" on your creation. Here is my take with my first tent card. It was quite easy to put together, very fun!

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

Post #2: Inky Impressions RECIPE Challenge

Hi, everyone!

It's time for a new challenge over at Inky Impressions! For the next two weeks, we have a recipe for you guys to follow: 3 Layers, 3 Embellishments, 2 Designer Papers, 1 Ribbon. This may seem complicated but it's actually not once you work on your project. We would love for you to join in the fun!

For my card, I used one of the newer adorable images, Nickie's Birdie. She is soooo cute! I have so much fun coloring her! I usually don't emboss my card base but I did this time because I used shimmered cardstock. I LOVE to emboss this type of cardstock! It's so pretty and elegant (my own opinion. hehe). I haven't paper pierced in a while so that was what I did on this card. Since this is the current theme over at The Corrosive, this card fits well!

Did you know? If you join our Yahoo Group, you get a 10% discount on your purchase at our online store! Check it out!

For more DT inspirations, please hop over to Inky Impressions! You won't be disappointed!

First Attempt At Dark Skin Tones

I should be in bed right now...but just have to share this card first!

Has anyone noticed my girl image cards? I never colored dark skin before! Well, this is my first attempt at it. Please tell me what you think! It took me a while to get it right! What colors do you guys use when coloring dark skin tones?

Oh, do you know over the weekend, I have the hardest time coloring my images? I didn't realize I usually use somewhat the same colors ALL the time! So you can kind of guess what happened, right? Yup, a lot of my markers are pretty much out of ink! I'll have to get a couple of refills at a time. I have been spending way too much on craft items this past year.

Anyway, this is my entry for TGF's Farm Fresh Friday and Copic Creations, which is to color blakc hair. I used all scraps on this card. Yeah, I am pretty determine to use up my scraps.

Okie dokie, off to bed for me. It's going to be a long day at work tomorrow...I mean today! LOL

TGF's First Scrapbook Challenge

Hi!
I made this LO last week, my first attempt for TGF Royal Battle. We didn't use this page for the contest so I am submitting it for TGF's first scrapbook Challenge. Starting this week, TGF is having a scrapbook challenge every Thursday. Gotta love TGF! They always come up with so many ways for everyone to win! Plus, their challenges and contests are always so cool!

This is my daughter when she was about three months old. I sort of set up a little studio at home so we don't have to take the kids to the actual studio for professional photos.

like I said previously, I am slowly getting back to scrapbooking. I am so behind with my babies' first year book! I am still aiming a page a week...wish me luck! LOL

Anyway, thanks a bunch for stopping by!

Happy Birthday to You...

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday dear JANA, Happy Birthday to You!! Happy Birthday, Jana! Wishing you lots of great things and many many happy returns!

We are having a virtual party for my La La Land Crafts' teammate, Jana, in honor her of special day! Come join the party if you have some time! Hop over to La La Land Crafts and see who else is in the party! You never know, you might meet a celebrity or two! LOL

On to my card for Jana...I used Easter Dress Rosie on my card. I followed the sketch over at Card Patterns. Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Hope you have a great day, Jana! It's your day so pamper yourself!
