Shaker Card

Hi again!

This is my second post for tonight so please scroll down for the first one. You don't want to miss the first one!

This is my first time making a shaker card and I love how it came out! I see a lot of people having it so I thought why now join in the fun too. :D There are a lot of tutorials out there but if you are interested you can always check out Hero Arts. I visit them EVERYDAY! They have a great video tutorial on it. If you want to read the instructions instead, check out Jodi's blog. She has a really easy to follow toturial as well. Shaker cards are really easy to make. They only thing I don't like about them is that they are too bulky.

For my card, I used my new Asian Doll set from Hero Arts along with Hero Arts Butterfly with Fern stamp. I raised the butterfly with a sticky foam to give ti a more 3D look. I placed the shaker on the front of my card but I will try the other version the next time, which is to place the shaker inside the card.

My card fits the following challenges:
1. Hero Arts: Complementary colors. I used blue and orange.
2. Mojo Monday: the sketch
3. Caarvark: window card. This is considered a window card, right?
4. Charisma Cardz: Any theme, any style. This is an easy one!
5. Three Clover Design: Where are you from? I am from this country!

Supplies:

Stamps: All Hero Arts

Ink: Versa Magic and A la Mode

Paper: The Paper Company cardstock, DCWV patterned paper

Embellishments: gems, flower pins, ribbon, beads

Others: sticky foams, clear craft plastic
