Who Loves TGF??

I do, I do!! hehe TGF is having a month long Royalty challenge and each week there is a new challenge with a prize to be won. Last week's theme was Fairy Tale Fun and this is what I came up with. A bottle cap necklace!

I was first introduced to bottle cap jewelry at CHA earlier this year. As a matter of fact, it was one of the make at takes at the October Afternoon booth (I think that was it). Well, I have been thinking about how cool and different bottle cap jewelries are so I just have to try them myself!

I used the frogy from the Down by the Pond set. The bottle cap is about an inch in diameter so the frogy didn't fit. What to do? I stamped him on cardstock and shrank him to 50%! Fits the bottle cap perfectly! I colored him with Copic and distressed the edge. I then adhered him to the bottle cap and finished the pendent with an epoxy.

Just the bottle cap is kind of plain so what to do? I added swarovski crystal, crystal pearl and charms to make it more trendy.

Oh and the box! This is my first time making this box. Pretty cool! It's actually great as a gift card box/holder too!

This is how it looks when you open up the box.

Close up... oh, the ball chain is about 18 inches.

So what do you think? My first time playing with bottle caps, my first time making this box! I must say, I am pretty proud of myself! hehe

Oh guess what? I am putting this set in my Etsy store! :) I figure, this pretty necklace deserves to be loved by a TGF fan and not just sit pretty in the box! LOL
