CHA PIC and Lucky Red Envelopes

Happy Chinese New Year! Well, if you know me or have met me before, then you know I am a little crazy at times. hehe You can get Chinese red envelopes compliment of banks or certain stores, not to mention they are very inexpensive. They are probably less than a dollar for a dozen. LOL Guess what I did for this Chinese New Year? I made my own envelopes! Only Kim, right? LOL I made a total of 64. I used red and hot pink cardstock for them.

Since this year is the Year of the Rabbit, I used my Penny Johnson two bunnies stamp. I stamped it on the cardstock with Versa Mark and then heat embossed it with sparkly gold embossing powder.

Kris, my good friend in Hawaii sent me this adorable Chinese boy stamp for Christmas so I used him here. There is a girl. I think I need to order that one! I embossed this one with sparkly gold embossing powder.

Can you tell I was trying to figure out what embossing powder work best? LOL This one was embossed with "dull" gold powder.

This one was with clear embossing powder.

I am entering this little project for Sentimental Sunday, Chinese New Year. Oh did I mention I met Ann Vento at CHA! We met previously at the Original Rubber Stamp Show last year. I was doing make and takes at the La La Land booth so we didn't get to take a pic together. :(
I finally got a chance to upload some pics from CHA! Yay! I didn't take a lot of pics. :(
I must say, Irina and Eric did a beautiful job with the booth! Doesn't this look amazing? Looked welcoming? La La Land Crafts was the talk of CHA! Everyone was talking about how adorable Marci and Luka are!
I especially love how the samples were framed!

Here is a pic of Leanne, me, and Jen! We looked so cute with our La La Land shirts!

From left to right: Renate, Irina, me, Leanne, and Lisa!

Until next time, have a great one, everyone!
