Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi!

I wasn't going to post this card til next week but because I like this one so much and am so anxious to share it, here it is! :D Prince Ian finally unites with Princess Anya!

Prince Ian is a freebie at TGF so if you haven't grabbed him, what are you waiting for??!! He is a cutie! I was having lots of fun with TGF CHA relay. Too bad it's been cancelled now.

I followed the sketch over at There She Goes. I thought it's an awesome sketch and it's perfect for this cute couple.

I am entering my card for these challenges as well:

Crafty Cardmakers: hearts and romance
Die Cuts R Us: Ribbon. I am not very creative with the ribbon here but I got ribbon. :D
Stampavie and More: Love Card

That's all for now. As always, thanks for stopping by!

OCS For Jamee

Hey, Peeps! Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

I made this card for Jamee, my OCS partner for this month. I followed the sketch over at Create 4 Fun. Honestly, I DON'T like how this card turned out. The colors are cool but for some odd reasons, something is not right. Weird....

My scraps are piling up again. :( At one time, I was so frustrated with them that I was about to trash all of them! But of course I didn't. It would be such a waste! So, for this card, that was what I used.

Hmmm...I am not really in the mood to talk...what's up with that??

I guess I'll go to bed a little early tonight then. Hopefully, tomorrow I will feel better. Thanks for stopping by! I apologize if I haven't visited some of you lately. I promise I will try whenever I get a chance.

Pull Out Gift Card holder

Hi! It's Wednesday and you know what that means! :D Yup, time for another La La Weekly Wednesday Challenge! We are on Challenge #23 already! I am the hostess this week and I chose GIFT CARD HOLDER as the theme. You can make any style, any theme, any size as long as it holds a gift card.

I call my gift card a "Pull Put Gift Card Holder" because I am just not creative with words. LOL I don't think there is a tutorial for this gift card because I haven't seen one of these online yet. This GCH was inspired by the one from Banana Republic (yup, I am a big fan of BR :D). It's a thin 6 x 4 box with a pull out tag. It's really not difficult to make it as long as you have all the measurements correctly.

I used Birthday Cake Maya and followed the sketch over at Stampin' for the Weekend on my card. This is one of the new stamps from La La Land Crafts' newest release. Adorable, huh? You can check out the entire release plus others at the online store. Don't forget, the special offer is still go through January 30, 2010....buy three stamps and get the foruth one FREE, your choice!

For more inspirations on GIFT CARD HOLDERS, please visit La La Land Crafts! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Have an awesome day, everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by!

THG CHA Relay Day 3

Hey!

Is everyone having fun with TGF CHA relay? I sure am!! I am just so amazed at how many participants! So much more fun, don't you think?

This is my Day 3 card with Toby cub....so adorable! Oh, did you see Day 4's preview? OMG, you have got to get your Toby Cub card in! You are getting Prince Ian!!! Princess Anya has been waiting for him like forever! You have got to bridge the gap between them! They are not too far from each other now. LOL

This card took me longer than expected. I don't color animals too often so the coloring part took me a while. Plus, I couldn't get this darn bow right! I think the bow itself took me like 10 minutes! I guess seeing that I have time before the deadline, I took my time! LOL

I followed the sketch over at Mojo Monday. There are two sketches for you to follow this week....round or square.

Oh, darn it, it's getting late again. I got to go! Thanks for visiting, everyone! Have a great one!

TGF CHA Relay Day 2

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great day!

This is my card for TGF CHA Relay Day 2. I tell you, this is definitely not one of my best cards! I thought I had to leave a comment before 6:00pm CST today to go to the next round so I rushed to finish this card in 15 minutes....that includes coloring, making the actual card, taking a pic of it, crop it in Photoshop, and uploading it to SCS and TGF gallery. Then as I was leaving a comment on TGF blog, I noticed everyone is still leaving comments for Mer Ian! Phew...I have until tomorrow 6:00pm to leave a comment. LOL Okay, I hope I get this right.

Anyway, I followed the sketch over at Taylored Expressions. Awesome sketch, by the way....I didn't do such a good job with it though. Oh, I met Taylor at the CHA Super Show the other day! She's tall....and friendly. A couple of her Baker's Dozen crew were there as well. She has some really cute new stamps! Hop over to her TE and check them out!

Well, I am gonna organize some of the goodies I got at the show. Plus, I still need to work on my DT projects. I shall be back soon with more creations. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Well, as you can see, Mermaid Anya finally found her mate! They are happily ever after now! :D I started with a fish tank style card but thought about it and changed my mind since I am pretty sure lots of people are going with the UNDER THE SEA theme. I was right. :D Check out the beautiful creations at TGF Gallery!

Sweet Wonderful You

Oh, I am so glad the weekend is almost here! It is still raining here...and really windy too. I walked to the post office during lunch earlier and I thought I was gonna get blown away! So windy!

I hope everyone is not sick of pink and red yet because you will be seeing quite a lot here! :D Fidget Goblinspider is such a cutie that I decided to play with her again....same outfit, just different colors.

Originally, I have wanted to use a different sentiment here, "Will You Be My Valentine" to be exact. But my printer keep messing up so I just went ahead and used Sweet Wonderful You by Hero Arts.

Okay, gonna wrap it up. I have one more long day at work tomorrow. But before I go, I am going to link my cards for these challenges first!

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!

I am on a roll with Valentine's Day cards! hehe I started this card with the Jen's recipe over at Club Anya and Friends. Oh my gosh, I don't think I played along at all this year! I am so behind with challenges!

Jen's recipe is Olive green, Pink, Dark Brown, and Sparkle! Lately, I love to distress and add stickle to the distressed edge. It's such a nice sparkly touch to the entire card! I am not sure if you can see much on this picture but you are more than welcome to click on it for a closer look.

I love it when I can create a card and then manage to submit it for more than one challenge. :D It's like to kill MANY birds with one stone!

Everybody Art: sketch
Creative Belli: hearts. Heart patterned paper, heart stamp, hearts on Anya's dress...
Your Next Stamp: Anything Sparkles
Anya Ink: Use flowers
Simon Says Stamps: Punch It!

Well, that's all for tonight. It's super duper cold here because it has been raining and will rain the rest of the week. I hope it will clear up before the weekend. CHA this weekend...anyone going?

Stamps: Miss Anya (The Greeting Farm), sentiment (Hero Arts)

Valentine

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY FIRST POST. THANK YOU!

This card is for Inky Impressions challenge. Our theme for the next two weeks is to create a card with hearts and pink. It could be a Valentine's Day card, Thinking of You card, any occasions as long as it's pink with heart(s) on it.

Fairy Lili is one of favorite Inky Impressions stamps. She is perfect for all occasions. I decided to make a Valentine's Day card as you can see. I bought a pack of blank heart shaped cards form Joann's for $1 and so this is perfect! You will be seeing a lot more hearts! :D

This is a great challenge for you to start making your Valentine's Day cards if you haven't done so. So come on, let's play along and have some fun!

Explosion Card

Hello, Everyone! Time for our La La Weekly Wednesday challenge over at La La Land Crafts! Our incredibly talented Elena is our hostess this week and she chose FANCY FOLD as the theme! She would love for you to play along with a card with different folds, not a usual fold card. This might be a challenge for some of you but hey, it is a challenge! LOL But there are lots of tutorials out there so I am sure nothing you guys can't handle!

I've always wanted to make an explosion card and this challenge is PERFECT for me! Thanks, Elena! I found this tutorial a long while ago and finally sat down and made this one. It looks complicated but it's actual not. I think I am going to make a couple more! :D

I used Birthday Lala on my card. I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers.

Happy Birthday, Kathy!

Today is my La La Land Crafts teammate, Kathy's birthday! Happy Birthday, Kathy! Enjoy your special day and may all your wishes come true!

To celebrate Kathy's special day, Elena, our birthday coordinator came up with an awesome idea to make the special girl feel EXTRA special. Thanks so much, Elena! You are one super duper creative, talented girl!

Elena thought it's cool to do a little WALK OF FAME for Kathy and I wouldn't agree more! Kathy's creations always amaze me! Most of us use Copics or prismacolors and such but do you know that Kathy uses Twinkling H2Os and distress ink for coloring??!! Oh my gosh, you have to check out her stuff! They are so creative, so inspiration! I especially love her distressing techniques...her favorite, that's why her blog is called Distressed stamper!

To honor Kathy's special day, I decided to CASE one of Kathy's card. I love every one of Kathy's cards but I chose to CASE THIS ONE since it has a heart on it. :D

On my card, I used Pumpkin Lala but replaced the pumpkin with the birthday cake from Pepper with Cake.

Hope you have a great one, Kathy!

Stamp: Pumpkin Lala, Cake from Pepper with Cake (La La Land Crafts), birthday sentiment on heart (Hero Arts), "Kathy" (Scrappy Cat alphabet clear stamp)

Another Sweet November Stamp

Hi! Hope everyone is having a good Monday off.

I am enjoying the day at home with the family. It's raining dogs and cats outside! It might rain all this week, I heard.

Thanks so much, everyone for all the awesome comments! I really appreciate each and everyne of you for always taking the time to stop by my little crafty place. Some of you had wanted to know if my sister is as crafty as I am. My answer: No. Yes, she's my twin. I was more anxious to see the world so she's my younger sister. :D We are not identical but we do share similar interests. She is not into arts and crafts though. She thinks it's time consuming and just doesn't have the patience or the time for it. I remembered she wanted to learn to crochet, so I taught her, which was difficult since I am left handed and she's right. A few years later, she gave me her crochet stuff and asked me to finish it (a scarf) for her. She gave up!

On to my card... Isn't this little fairy adorable? Meet Fidget Goblinspider! She is one of Amy's unique Sweet November Stamps! She's available for purchase at All That Scraps.

Get Sketchy has an awesome sketch to follow this week and I thought the little fairy is perfect for it. Oh, in case you are wondering why I tie a little blue bow on her hair, I accidentally cut her hair! I had to cover it with something to save the image! LOL You probably don't notice it if I don't say anything. hehe

I am entering my card for these challenges as well:

Incy Wincy: Favorite medium. My fav: COPIC!
Little Paper Shop: Button It
Tuesday Morning Sketch: Buttons and Bow
Your Next Stamp: Embossing
Flutterby Wednesday: open theme as long as there is a butterfly, fairy, angel...

Thanks so much for keeping me company on this rainy day!

All Shaped Up!

Hey!

Are you guys ready for another fun, fun La La Weekly Wednesday challenge? I hope so because this week it's all about SHAPES, challenge set by our talented Maureen Wong! She would love to see some amazing cards with shapes other then the usual square.

My mojo was kind of disappeared after my mini vacation so I just made a plain old round one (my first time making one). I thought an image in a sitting position would look better in a round card so I invited Sitting Lala over for some fun!

Lately, Jessica over at The Whimsical Butterfly is into the pleated ribbon treatment so she definitely inspired me to add it to today's card. I think this card was my first and last time using pleated ribbon. It does add a nice touch to the whole card. :D

Since it's almost Valentine's Day, I added a couple of hearts....even though it's a Thank You card. This card measures 6x6.

I am entering this card for these challenges:

There She Goes: 3 different embellishments
Creative Belli Blog: Any type of glitter or rhinestone
Crafty Cardmakers: What's New. Making a round card is new to me.
2RedBananas: Think Round
Lily of the Valley: A Thank You Card
The Corrosive Challenge: Distressing
Simon Says Stamps: Shabby Chic
Die Cut R Us: Leftovers: I used all scraps...leftover Eskimo Kiss patterned paper
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Going Girly

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting, Everyone!

Card Details:
Stamps:
Sitting Lala (La La Land Crafts), Sentiment (Hero Arts)
Ink: Copic, Cat's Eyes
Paper: Basic Grey (Eskimo Kisses)
Embellishments: twine, button, ribbon
Tools/Others: stickle

Ready for Christmas?

LOL I am just teasing you guys! I am still trying to recover from last year's Christmas! I still haven't put away my babies presents so I am definitely not ready yet!

Since I was late with all the Christmas stuff last year, I thought I better start EARLY this year....way early. I'll try my best to make a Christmas here and there. I can't promise every week though.

I colored this girly (Inky Impressions) a long while ago and never gotten around to use her. Plus, it seems like forever since I play along challenges so this card is for Papertake Weekly.

Did you know? Besides stamps, Inky Impressions now carries embellishments (spacers, dinky drops, ribbons, etc) as well! Check it out!

Don't forget, the current sketch challenge is still going on! You have until next Tuesday to enter!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
