No Cards But...

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great week! Besides the rain, it has been not too bad on my side of the world. I love the rain but I seriously don't want it anymore, especially not this coming weekend! We originally wanted to have the kids' party last weekend but it rained so we postponed to this weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I thought I would share some other crafts besides cards today. I have been working on these Santa's hats since October and finally got them done on Monday! I crocheted a little each night and got a dozen done! I could've finished them a long time ago if I didn't procrastinate. LOL Shown here are eleven. My nephew took one home already. I used I think four different yarns (not the number of keins but the type/testure) even though they are all just black and white.

I wanted to make something quick for some of my co-workers and here are what I came up with. I bought a bunch of acrylic 3.5 x 5 frames from Joann's last month at 60% off plus my 20% coupon. Each came out to be practically nothing! It was an awesome deal so I bought a whole bunch! LOL I altered some of them into a Post It note holder.

Here is a closer look at the holder.

I have these large book binders for like forever and finally put them to good use! I altered them into photo clips, to match the Post It note holders.
I used all scraps on these projects. Gotta get rid of some scraps! LOL
I have been baking so I will share some sweets hopefully soon!
Okie dokie...I hope everyone is staying dry and warm and ready for Christmas! Christmas is in only three days and I am so not ready! I still haven't finished shopping yet!

Hi Kim! I heard about the terrible rains you've been having--mudslides, too! Yikes! I'll be praying for sun for you! Have a Merry Christmas!

Ohmygosh, Kim, I can't believe you crocheted a whole dozen of those great santa caps! You are so talented! They came out beautiful! And those note pad holders on the acrylic frame is always great to have on hand as well as the binder clips all dressed up! Stay safe, warm, and dry. We heard about the torrential rains in CA and mudslides. Our rain is nothing compared to yours! Here's wishing for a lot of sunshine to brighten your Christmas Day! Hugs, Cami
