Altered Notebook

WARNING: LOONG POST WITH LOTS OF PICTURES!

Hello, hello! Hope everyone is having a great week!

It has been raining on and off here in LA....pretty gloomy. Hope it will get little better by the weekend.

The Greeting Farm has an ALTERED NOTEBOOK contest going on and I decided to play along. You know I love to make 3D items. :D

I have been really busy with stuff so I didn't really get to work on this book until Monday night. I did have in mind how I wanted it though so it wasn't too difficult to put together. Plus, the good thing is, I have all the supplies I needed. Well, I go to Michael's and Joann's like every week so for sure I have a lot of little bits and pieces here and there. LOL

I thought it's cool to keep a book of all the TGF stamps/images with tabs separating all the different collections. These are the images I have on hand so far. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stamp all of them right now. I can't believe I have so many of them! That tells you how much I love TGF! LOL

This was actually a wedding recipe book I bought a long while ago on clearance. You really don't know what comes in handy until you really need it! LOL

Here is my completed book! I decorated/covered it with Basic Grey papers (front and back, inside covers as well). I added some metal corners too! I saw these at Michael's last week and thought they are cool! They are by Tim Holtz. On the side are chipboard letters by K&Company.

Here is how it looks like on the inside. I made six pocketed tabs. The pockets are for stamped images to be used when I need them. Under each tab are stamped images with the name of the stamp for reference.

Close of the image. These three girls are actually together, masked them together.

Here are each individual tabs...

As time permits, I will add more tabs and stamped images. This book is kind of bulky so it's great for display, not to be put away in the bookshelf. LOL

Although this book did not turn out as I pictured, I do like it. Hope everyone enjoy looking at all the pictures! Thanks so much for stopping by today

This is a brilliant idea and so gorgeous! And how in the world have you only been working on it since Monday??? This would take me weeks if not months. I'm so impressed. This is just WOW!!! And what a gorgeous way to keep your stampies organized. :D I love it!
