Bad Sewing!

Hello! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today is another fun challenge at Lollipop Crafts! Danni is our hostess this week and she chose PETS as the theme. I decided to use this cute little image from The Greeting Farm. I bought this DCWV Dog stack a while back but never used it. I am glad I was able to use it for this card!

So, a week ago, I finally went to Walmart and bought a sewing machine. After researching a few models I was going to settle with a $80 Singer. I mean I am only going to use it for scrapbooking! LOL But..when I went ot Walmart, I saw this Brother machine on sale, $50 more...computerized..so I got it. It has like 50 different stitches so I of course was playing with it! LOL Sometimes I think I am pretty brave! hehe See this card? I didn't tried it on scratch papers first. I went straight to this card! Yeah, I know, my sewing is pretty bad here.

Anyway, I followed the sketch over at Stamp, Doodle, and Scrap. I entered this card for TGF's Farm Fresh Friday challenge, Lucky number. Well, three is not really my lucky number but I wanted to get a head start on my son's birthday card. hehe

Okie dokie....hope everyone can find some time and play along with us! For more inspiration, please check out Lollipop Crafts!

What a fun experience in purchasing your new sewing machine. At least you were brave enough to just jump in there & start sewing. Looks great to me! TFS!

Um, I'm the QUEEN of "bad sewing' and I have no excuse-I've had my Janome for a long time, LOL! You know what though-it's NOT that bad, and two, w/ this cute image it looks 'scrappy' like it's supposed to-honestly if you hadn't said that I'd have thought you did it that way on purpose! It's JUST DARLING, I love it!

ahh, but, the lil' imperfections makes this card unique! takes courage to sew on a card, in my opinion! I think your card came out great! have a great day!

The card is darling! I say the not perfect stitching gives your card character. :)
