My October OCS card for Jodi

My OCS partner for October was Jodi. She should've received my card by now so it's safe to post it. :)

What do you think of this little girl? She is one of the many drawings I did a month or so ago. I was just so lazy to convert them into digis. Meet Miss Kaylie! I named her after my daughter. hehe I couldn't come up with anything creative so Kaylie it is. Can you come up with a better name for her? I don't think Kaylie suit her too well.

I was like "oh no" when Teri emailed me who my partner was. Jodi does BEAUTIFUL work so I was a little intimidated. Her coloring is always so amazing! Mine is not even a little close to hers! Also, Jodi has like ALL the stamps out there and I didn't know what stamp I should use for her card. So I thought, hmm....I know she doesn't have any of my drawings. :)

This card is not how I pictured in my head...the colors, the paper, everything. I am not completely happy with it but I guess it's okay. Hope Jodi likes it anyway.

For my card, I followed the sketch over at Sketch and Stash. I used my new patterned paper. Oh darn it, I forgot to check the brand before trashing the scraps again! Arrgg...

Oh, I made another bracelet. :) This one is sort of similar to the last one I made. Except on this one, I used some crystallized pearls and used a few of those high quality glass beads as the main connector (the larger beads). Plus, I used a toggle for closure on this one. The smaller beads are crystal. I LOVE using crystal for my jewelry because I love sparkles!

Thank you so so much for stopping by everyone!

Kim... you NEED to start designing digis for a company girlfriend!! THIS is super super cute and if you can draw like THIS you are going to do very well in the digi dept. or even making them into stamps!! SERIOUSLY.. .she is sooo CUTE!!! And I love the name you chose... and it makes her even more special that she's named after your daugher. KEEP IT! LOL =)

LOVE your beautiful DP and those colors go so well together. I'm envious--wish I could draw like this. GORGEOUS bracelet too!! Do you sell them on Etsy??

Anyway, I think the decision is unanimous... we would all BUY this digi--so what are you waiting for?!!! heeheee!! =)

Hugs!!
