Here is this month's sketch!  I kept it pretty simple.  I hope it is still pretty easy to follow.  You are more than welcome to rotate my sketch, change the elements, the shapes and so forth to make it work /fit for your card, project!

Sparkle Creations Challenge #80: Photo Inspiration

Hey there!

As you can see, the umbrella inspired me! LOL I used Rainy Day Ruby on my card. My creativity was not with me when I was working on this card so I kept it plain and simple. I get those moments every now and then. LOL

Sparkle Creations Challenge #79: May Flower

We are onto challenge #79 at Sparkle Creations! For the next couple of weeks, we have a MAY FLOWER challenge for you to play along! This is an easy, right? Most of us use flowers on our creations so this is seriously a piece of cake!

I used Charlotte with Rose on this card. I use Charlotte on my card a lot of times, not sure if you have noticed. She is one of my fave!

May 2012 Sketch

Hello there!

Thank you so much for playing along my sketch challenge!  Awesome entries for April! It's always fun to see everyone's different take on the sketch.

I will announce April's winner in July, along with May and June.  I am trying to take it easy and slow as the baby is due any minutes now.

Look what challenge we have at Sparkle Creations this week! :) It's a sketch!

You know I don't have much time to craft these days so gotta start early with my Christmas cards! I used Scooter Chloe on this card. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. Ribbon flower is handmade by me! :)

Good Books Build Character

Here is my take using Bookworm Ruby! This is one of my FAVORITE school themed stamp! Bookworm Ruby is so perfect for a teacher!!

I colored the image with Copic and used prismacolor pencils for shading. I don't do a lot of shading, I need to do that more often!

Sparkle Creations April 2012 Preview: Ballerina Ruby

Hi! Well, today is our final April preview and release day at Sparkle Creations! You know what that means! Yup, all stamps are available for purchase at our online store!!!

Today's preview is Ballerina Ruby! Isn't Ruby just about the cutest ballerina??

I love purple but I don't usually color purple. Why? The picture never comes out right for me! The color is never true! For whatever reason, this time it is actually pretty close to the true color! I colored with Copics of course!

I've always wanted to try distress ink. Has anyone tried the distress ink markers yet? Any feedbacks on them??

Oh hey! Do you like the patterned paper I used on this card? This is a new company I am trying out! Well, it is new to me since I've never bought anything from them previously! It is by Best Creation Inc. This stack is called A walk in the Garden. The papers are so glittery and pretty! The only thing I don't like about this stack is that all papers are loose! Which means, I have to keep them in it's original clear bag. I know this doesn't bother some of you but it bothers me! LOL

April 2012 Karber Preview: Happy Summer Set

Hello there! Today at Sparkle Creations we are previewing a Karber set, Happy Summer! This is a super adorable set, great for all those Summer cards and projects! This set is clear, comes with this adorable little girl, three sentiments and three other mini stamps (crab, beach ball and a little sun).

I don't have a lot of Summer themed papers so I basically used scraps on this card. I have tons and I really need to use them up!
