Sparkle Creations Challenge #72: Super Bowl Challenge

Hello! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I sure did! I had lots of fun meeting old and new friends at CHA! I wasn't planning to go earlier today but I did and I am glad! There are so much to see! I wish I could go back tomorrow but I really need to save some of my time for maternity leave. I am going back to help Sparkle at the booth on Wednesday though. If you are going to be there on Wednesday, hope you can stop by and say hi! We are at Booth #26!!

I couldn't find my small camera so I didn't bring one to CHA. Plus, I figure EVERYONE will be snapping pictures so I am sure you guys will be or are already seeing lots of CHA pics!

Well, it's super bowl season so this week at Sparkle Creations, the theme is Super Bowl! You can choose your favorite team!

I am not into football at all so I don't know any team or have any favorite. One of my friends is from Chicago and she always says "da bears" so that's the team I went with! LOL

Here is Football Josh in blue, orange and white! I hope I got the colors right for Chicago Bears! LOL I used the January sketch at I {heart} Sketch. This is a guy card so no embellishments at all! Amazed?? :)

Hope you all can play along with us! For more inspiration, please visit our blog!

My Memories GIVEAWAY and a SURPRISE Blog Candy!

Very long post but SO WORTH reading it!

Hello! Although I haven’t really been papercrafting as much recently due to my pregnancy but I have been crafting, such as beading, crocheting and DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING! Mainly because none of these crafts have strong fume! LOL

I will share my crochet projects and stuff at a later date. Today, I want to share my digital pages PLUS a GIVEAWAY!

A representative from My Memories contacted me recently to try out this FANTASTIC digital scrapbooking program. I am not much of a digital scrapbooker but once I tried this program, I LOVE it and I think you all will too!

My Memories has an awarding winning digital scrapbook software program that is super easy and fun to use! It is very much like Photoshop. In fact, My Memories pages, layouts, elements and pretty much everything else are compatible with Photoshop and other photo editing programs! The program, My Memories Suite is rated #1 digital scrapbooking software and is the #1 Amazon best sellers!

I haven’t been scrapbooking as much the last couple of years because I have been very much addicted to cardmaking. Plus, traditional scrapbooking takes a lot of time to see the end result, not to mention how costly it can get! However, with digital scrapbooking, it’s cheaper, you see your finished project in less time AND you can SHARE your pages or Albums with as many of your friends and family you want!

The last few days, I was having a BLAST trying out My Memories Suite! Oh my gosh, there are tons and tons of papers (different colors, solids, stripes, patterned, you name it!) and embellishments to choose from! There are lots of different style and size of albums too! You can get creative and make you own pages or choose one of the program’s premade pages! There are LOTS to choose from! Believe me, I am totally IN LOVE and AMAZED with this program! Oh and you have GOT TO check out the My Memories site! There are a HUGE selection of paper packs, combo packs, mini packs, etc, etc to choose from at a very affordable price! Did I mention FREE DOWNLOADS?? Yes, there are lots and lots of free downloads too!

Check out what I made with this awesome program!

This is a pre assembled layout. This was my first attempt at the program. It took like a minute to work on this one! LOL This is my daughter when she was just a few months old.

Here is a page I made totally from scratch! 90% of the papers and elements on this page are included in the program. The 10% (the star paper) is a FREE download.

This is our family portrait from 2010. I didn't get a chance to scan 2011's yet. I am so behind with putting my pictures in albums!

Even if you are not a scrapbooker, you will still love this program! Why? Because besides using the program for layouts and albums, it’s a wonderful program for cards, gifts, tags, calendars, sketches…really however creative you can get with it! LOL Hmmm..I think I am going to make birth announcement photo cards for my new baby. That will definitely save me a bunch!

Oh hey, check out this cool sketch I did with the program! My sketches don't have to be so "dull" anymore! LOL

Who wants to give this program a try? Well, you are in luck! I have a FREE program to giveaway, sponsor by My Memories! One lucky random winner will be chosen from all commenters on this post to try it out! Yup, it is ABSOLUTELY FREE if you are chosen!

A Simple Guy Card

This is a rather simple card. I didn't even use any embellishments! Wow!

I CASE'd Wilfreda's card, for Friday's Spy Day #14 at The Greeting Farm. I used Hugh on this card.

Here are other challenges this card is for:

Icopic: Blues
All That Scraps: Anything Goes

Bundle Of Joy!

Hello! Happy Monday, everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I have some exciting news to share! But first, let's talk about my card! :)

This week at Lollipop Crafts, it's an ANYTHING NEW GOES challenge! You can interpret it any way you like!

I used Some Odd Girls' Baby Snuggle Kaylee on this card. I used My Mind's Eye Happy Go Lucky Papers. I used my new sentiment set by Papertrey Ink.

I messed up at coloring Kaylee's skin tone so I had to change it to a darker tone. I am not used to coloring dark skin....definitely a great chance for me to practice! LOL

Can anyone guess why I choose to make a "baby" card? :) I usually go with Birthday cards or Holiday cards. LOL I rarely make baby cards. They do come in handy though.

I have been keeping a secret from you guys all these months! I am expecting! Baby boy will be here in May! This explains why the lack of blog visits, comments, posts, tiredness, etc, etc. LOL I even took a week off work just to rest up! I felt great doing NOTHING for a week! LOL

I got off most of my DTs except for Sparkle Creations. I just couldn't find time to craft as much as before. Plus, the smell of the zip dry glue is too strong for me. I don't think it's even good for the baby! LOL Anyway, I do plan to post here and there when I get a chance. I will try my best to visit everyone too! When the baby comes, I do plan to take some time off blogging. I may have to make some changes then so I may cut back on blogging, computer time and so forth.

Thank you all so very much for stopping by my blog even when I couldn't visit you guys! I really appreciate it!

Challenges:
Some Odd Girls: Bling Me
Corrosive Challenge: Ring In The New Year
Dream Valley Challenge: Anything Goes
Card Makin' Mamas: New Year or Something New
Dutch Dare: New Beginings
Simon Says Stamps: Something New

Hello!

I set aside a little time this week and made this card for The Greeting Farm's Monday Fun Day Challenge: blue, white plus one other color.

I used this cute Anya from the Rain, Snow Shine set. Papers are by S.E.I and twine is by The Twinery. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

I am doing pretty good with my New Year resolution so far. I wanted to stop by Michael's earlier but didn't go after all. I remember my New Year resolution! LOL

I am working on a few things. I shall share those soon! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Sparkle Creations Challenge #70: Anything New Challenge

Happy New Year, everyone! It seems forever since I last posted! I have been taking it easy behind the scene, not much papercrafting going on. I used my Copics for the first time in a few weeks. I almost forgot how to color!

We at Sparkle Creations are back from our little winter break and are ready for a brand new challenge! For the next two weeks, we have a Anything New Challenge. Easy peasy, right?

I am still pretty much in the Holiday mode so I decided to get a head start with my 2012 Christmas cards! Yup, this is my first Christmas card for the year! Yay for me! hehe Actually, I am running low on Holiday cards so I thought I better get started since I don't craft as much these days.

I used pretty much everyone old on this card, except for the jingle bell charm. For the new year, I do have a resolution and shall get to that later.

For my card today, I used Christmas Tree Ruby. Oh, did I mention she is currently on sale? I used Basic Grey Jovial papers. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

Sparkle Creations is sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketch this week.I followed the sketch for my card. For an additional chance at winning a Sparkle Creations stamp, please along Tuesday Morning Sketch!

My PC is acting up so no signature for my pictures. Also, the SD card I normally use is corrupted! I have pictures of my kiddies there. I hope hubby stored those away previously.

I haven't really thought of my new year resolution. They are basically the usual stuff I need to work on.

1. Be more organized. My craft desk has been a mess all these years! Even my 4-year-old son as me why my desk is so messy! LOL

2. Limit purchases on crafty items. I have to admit, I am a shopaholic ( not sure on the spelling)! I always buy more than I need, more than necessary. My hubby always say I could open my own craft store with what I have!

3. Work on more stuff for my Etsy store. I actually neglected it for the last few months! Yikes!

This post is getting long. I know you guys are getting tired already. LOL More to come when I post the next time!
