Sparkle Creation Challenge #28 - It's A Girl Thing

Hello!

Time for another Sparkle Creations Challenge! This week, we would like to see everything girly - It's a Girl Thing!

For my card today, I used Celebrating Chloe. I colored Chloe with Copics and added diamond glaze on the balloons. I know you can't see it too well on this picture but it's there. LOL

We would love to have you play along with us! To qualify for a price, you must include a Sparkle Creations image on your creation.

On another note, I totally did not get a chance to craft this past week. I was at CHA helping at the La La Land Booth and had lots of fun browsing all the new products! The best thing was I got to meet a few people! I met Sparkle, she is such a sweet person. We even got to hang out Sunday afternoon and did some make and takes together! Way cool!

From Sparkle's team, I also met Stephanie and Sheala! Very nice gals!

Of course, I got to meet my good friend, Lisa as well! It's always fun to hang out with Lisa!

I got to meet Leanne, very sweet person too! Thanks for the great help at La La La Land, Leanne!

I didn't get a chance to meet Jessica Diedrich last year when she was in Calif. but we finally met! Totally awesome! Oh, TGF got some really cute stuff coming out! Be on the look out for that!!

Well, I am too lazy to get my camera out right now to upload some pics to share but I will soon! I am still very tired from it all! Plus, yesterday was one busy day for me! I took my kid to the doctor's, to check out the preschool and got a root canal. Yes, a root canal. :( I have been having dental problems since last December!

Since today is my son's first day of school, I took him to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday.

Be My Valentine

I always have a hard time making masculine cards. They always seem to come out so girly. LOL

This is a simple card but I did have to put my thinking cap on. hehe

I used Amour Luka on this card. He is one of the newest images in La La Land, our latest Valentine's collection. Isn't he darling?? I colored him with Copic. Papers are by Stampin' Up.

I rarely finish the inside of my cards but I did for this one. :) Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Just Because...

Hello, hello!

I haven't been very productive this year so far and it's mainly because my pc is down..excuses, excuses. hehe Well, part of it is true. The other reason is I haven't been in much of a crafty mode. I am hoping I will get back in the groove by starting off with a challenge card. I seriously have not played along ANY challenges for a looooong while!

I made this card for the ABC challenge with M for MAGICAL and A SKETCH to follow. The sketch motivated me to work on this card.

A while back, my friend, Cami stamped me a few Hanglar images. I haven't colored this one a while back. I even matched the papers already...LOL..so it didn't take me too long to finish this this card.

Another Paper Cake

Yummy, yummy! hehe I made this cake on special request. My co-worker wanted to give something special and different for a little girl so she asked me to make her this after she saw the first paper cake I made last year for my kiddies' birthday party.

This one is pretty much the same as the last two except I made a bunch of little flowers for the center for this one. I even bought a cake box to put in!

You probably can't tell from the pictures but I sprayed shimmer on it. It's pretty shimmery.

Love Is In The Air!

Yup, this is the challenge at Sparkle Creations this week! We would like to see your Valentine's Day creations!

For my card today, I used the ever so adorable Cupid Emily. This is a gate fold card. I haven't made one in years! LOL I colored Emily with Copic. I added pink glitter to her wings and crystal stickle to her hair band and the two hearts. Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Lollipop Crafts Challenge: One Layer

Hey there!

I know I have been pretty quiet but hopefully I will soon post more and visit you guys. As you all know, I haven't have Internet in a couple of weeks already. My pc is still not fixed yet. Plus, the modern went out on us so we were totally offline for a couple of days. Also, we are in the process of switching Internet/cable/phone provider so hubby didn't want to work on my pc until after we took care of that.

I think I made roughly 15 cards and haven't posted yet. I have other crafty items done as well. I guess without the interruption of browsing the net, I could really get some stuff done! LOL But then again, I didn't get too much done since I have been going to bed early. Without Internet, I was like, what am I going to do? We rely on the Internet so much, don't we? LOL

Anyway, Alanna is our hostess this week at Lollipop Crafts and she is challenging us to create an one layer card. I love to add lots of layers to my cards so this challenge took me some time. LOL But in the end, I love it! My card took so much less time to finish and I love how it came out!

I used one of my old Hampton Art baby stamp. I find myself not making enough baby cards so I decided to add one to my stash. Hopefully, I will work on more. They are great to have when you need it. I mean, at least I don't have to rush to get one done at the last minute! LOL

I stamped it directly onto my card base. I colored the image with Copic and made an embossed border using my Martha Stewart scoreboard. I added crystal stickle to the hearts and finished it off by adhering two little pink buttons to the wheels.

Happy happy Friday, everyone! Oh my gosh, it seems forever since I posted! I haven't been slacking off though. I have been quite busy with lots of creations behind the scene. I will share those real soon!

Sparkle Creation Challenge #26

Hello! It's time for another fun challenge at Sparkle Creations! This week is a photo inspiration challenge! Aren't these bags cool??

Here is my take. I started first with pink and brown but ended up adding some great as well. LOL

I used Celebrating Chloe on this card. I added crystal stickle to her party hat and bow. I paper pieced one of the balloons and added diamond glaze on it. I cut out one of Chloe's balloons...not sure if you noticed. LOL Sketch is by Mojo Monday. It has been a while since I play along their sketches.

Sparkle Craetions Challenge #25

Hello, hello!

This week we have a fun sketch for everyone to try at Sparkle Creations! I've never done any sketches but thought it would be fun to try it! Yup, this sketch was drawn by ME! This sketch is pretty simple so I do hope you guys can play along with us!


I am proud to say I made my first Holiday card for 2011! Yay! It's never too early to start! LOL Last year I started early and I have enough (but not enough time to send them. LOL).

I used Scooter Chloe on this card. It has been a while since I inked her up. I also haven't been using my sewing machine much so I went a little crazy with it as well...as you can see here. LOL

Well, my pc is still not fixed yet. Hubby didn't have time this last weekend.

:( My pc is now completely GONE! I am using hubby's in the meantime but he's pc doesn't have the softwares I need...such as PS. I guess here comes another week or two without internet! LOL

Sparkle Creation Challenge #24: Tie It Up

Hello! I can't believe in are in 2011 already! Where does the time go??

After a two-week break, we are back with our first challenge of the year at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! For this week, our theme is TIE IT UP! It's an easy one! :)

I used Cocktail Emily on this card. I haven't used my sewing machine in a while so I added zig zag stitches. I had wanted to use brown thread but ran out. :(

Well, I am keeping this post short since I am using hubby's pc. My computer once again has been infected! Arrgg!! I am not sure if it's going to be fixed by this week so if I don't have any more posts the rest of the week, you know what happened. LOL
