Very long post but SO WORTH reading it!

Hello! Although I haven’t really been papercrafting as much recently due to my pregnancy but I have been crafting, such as beading, crocheting and DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING! Mainly because none of these crafts have strong fume! LOL

I will share my crochet projects and stuff at a later date. Today, I want to share my digital pages PLUS a GIVEAWAY!

A representative from My Memories contacted me recently to try out this FANTASTIC digital scrapbooking program. I am not much of a digital scrapbooker but once I tried this program, I LOVE it and I think you all will too!

Did I mention FREE DOWNLOADS?? Yes, there are lots and lots of free downloads too!

This is a pre assembled layout. This was my first attempt at the program. It took like a minute to work on this one! LOL This is my daughter when she was just a few months old.

Here is a page I made totally from scratch! 90% of the papers and elements on this page are included in the program. The 10% (the star paper) is a FREE download.

This is our family portrait from 2010. I didn't get a chance to scan 2011's yet. I am so behind with putting my pictures in albums!

Even if you are not a scrapbooker, you will still love this program! Why? LOL Hmmm..I think I am going to make birth announcement photo cards for my new baby. That will definitely save me a bunch!

Hello! Happy Monday, everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I have some exciting news to share! But first, let's talk about my card! :)

This week at Lollipop Crafts, it's an ANYTHING NEW GOES challenge! You can interpret it any way you like!

I used Some Odd Girls' Baby Snuggle Kaylee on this card. I used My Mind's Eye Happy Go Lucky Papers. I used my new sentiment set by Papertrey Ink.

I messed up at coloring Kaylee's skin tone so I had to change it to a darker tone. I am not used to coloring dark skin....definitely a great chance for me to practice! LOL

Can anyone guess why I choose to make a "baby" card? :) I usually go with Birthday cards or Holiday cards. LOL I rarely make baby cards. They do come in handy though.

I have been keeping a secret from you guys all these months! I am expecting! Baby boy will be here in May! This explains why the lack of blog visits, comments, posts, tiredness, etc, etc. LOL I even took a week off work just to rest up! I felt great doing NOTHING for a week! LOL

I got off most of my DTs except for Sparkle Creations. I just couldn't find time to craft as much as before. Plus, the smell of the zip dry glue is too strong for me. I don't think it's even good for the baby! LOL Anyway, I do plan to post here and there when I get a chance. I will try my best to visit everyone too! When the baby comes, I do plan to take some time off blogging. I may have to make some changes then so I may cut back on blogging, computer time and so forth.

Hello!

I set aside a little time this week and made this card for The Greeting Farm's Monday Fun Day Challenge: blue, white plus one other color.

I used this cute Anya from the Rain, Snow Shine set. Papers are by S.E.I and twine is by The Twinery. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

I am doing pretty good with my New Year resolution so far. I wanted to stop by Michael's earlier but didn't go after all. I remember my New Year resolution! LOL

Sparkle Creations Challenge #70: Anything New Challenge

Happy New Year, everyone! It seems forever since I last posted! I have been taking it easy behind the scene, not much papercrafting going on. I used my Copics for the first time in a few weeks. I almost forgot how to color!

We at Sparkle Creations are back from our little winter break and are ready for a brand new challenge! For the next two weeks, we have a Anything New Challenge. Easy peasy, right?

I am still pretty much in the Holiday mode so I decided to get a head start with my 2012 Christmas cards! Yup, this is my first Christmas card for the year! Yay for me! hehe Actually, I am running low on Holiday cards so I thought I better get started since I don't craft as much these days.

I used pretty much everyone old on this card, except for the jingle bell charm. For the new year, I do have a resolution and shall get to that later.

For my card today, I used Christmas Tree Ruby. Oh, did I mention she is currently on sale? I used Basic Grey Jovial papers. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

My PC is acting up so no signature for my pictures. Also, the SD card I normally use is corrupted! I have pictures of my kiddies there. I hope hubby stored those away previously.

I haven't really thought of my new year resolution. They are basically the usual stuff I need to work on.

1. Be more organized. My craft desk has been a mess all these years! Even my 4-year-old son as me why my desk is so messy! LOL

2. Limit purchases on crafty items. I have to admit, I am a shopaholic ( not sure on the spelling)! I always buy more than I need, more than necessary. My hubby always say I could open my own craft store with what I have!

3. Work on more stuff for my Etsy store. I actually neglected it for the last few months! Yikes!

This post is getting long. I know you guys are getting tired already. LOL More to come when I post the next time!

Okay for my project today, I made this set of goody bag for my son's teacher for Christmas. This is a one sheet (12x12) paper purse. 1Luvmama sent me one of these a while back and thought it's a great idea to CASE! These are very fun and easy to make too!

The other side of the bag is the same, with the exception of an added tag. I didn't want to take a pic of the tag because it has my son's full name.

Here is what it looks like once you open it. Yup, full of goodies for the teacher!

A gift card holder is included. I used the Clear Christmas set on this one. Oh, the paper is by Basic Grey. I found a bunch at Michael's a while back on clearance for one cent each!

Here is how it looks once you open the gift card holder. Everyone goes to Target so a Target gift card is perfect! :)

A match box full of sweets is also included. Once again, I used the Clear Christmas set.

I stuffed it with Orange Krispys from See's Candies. These are really yummy!

Last but not least, I made a little notepad and personalized with my son's teacher's name. I used Teacher Anya on this. Sadly, I don't have Teacher Anya. I have a couple of stamped images from a loooong time ago. I don't even remember who I got it from! Teacher Anya is great for of course school related projects so I think I need to order her! Soon! :)

My gift set is really nothing to wow about. I really just needed to get a few Christmas presents done so this is the perfect chance to get at least one done! LOL

It has been a looong while since I play along any Lollipop Crafts challenges! It's that terrible?? This week at Lollipop Crafts, it is to create a card/project with a Holiday theme.

CC Sunday from The Greeting Farm is not a Holiday stamp but you can of course use him for whatever occasion card/project you wish! It all depends on your color scheme, sentiment and the papers you use.

For my card, I followed last week's Mojo Monday sketch. I used Lily of the Valley sentiment. Papers are once again by Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses.

Just a Couple of Challenges...

Sparkle Creations is sponsoring three challenges this week, Deconstructed Sketch, For Your Inspiration, and Do You Stack Up. I was working on my card and totally did not check the inspiration picture from For Your Inspiration! Oh well, two out of three is not bad anyway. LOL

So for my card or course, I followed the sketch at Deconstructed Sketch. I used Christmas Tree Ruby.

This year, I have been making mostly traditional color Christmas cards. This is is no exception. Also, since my Eskimo Kisses stack is out, I just used that for this card as well. I used it for a couple of other cards too which I will post soon!

Do You Stack Up's challenge is to use ribbon or anything that ties. Well, this is an easy one since I love to use ribbons! LOL I have one green charm left so perfect to go with this card! I guess I need to make more for rainy days! hehe

I am sending this card to my December Secret Sister. Hope she likes it! (Can't reveal who it is yet since the card is still in my possession! LOL)

Hello!

It is super cold here in Los Angeles these days. I know I shouldn't complain because some of you are in much colder areas. It's cold for me since we have mostly warm days.

Were you guys affected by last week's strong wing? Oh my gosh, fallen trees (mostly big trees) are still everywhere!

Anyway, today I have this CC Saturday card to share! Since the Holiday is here, I decided to dress him up a little festive for a Christmas card. I followed the sketch from Stamp With Fun and used Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses papers. I even added a couple jingle bells as charms!

I got a few errands to run today so I better get going. I shall be back soon to share more! I worked on a few cards this weekend! Yay! Have a good one, everyone!

Sparkle Creations Challenge #69: A sketch

Hello! Hey Friends! It's time for another Sparkle Creations Challenge! This is our final challenge of the year! We at Sparkle Creations know how busy the Holiday can get so we are taking the rest of the year off so that you can do you Christmas shopping, spend time with friends and family and so forth. We will go back to our regular challenges starting January 2012!

For our final challenge, we have a sketch for you to follow, created by me! :)

I used Snow Bunny Lucy on my card. As you all know, I haven't been creating much lately so I am really behind with Christmas cards. So of course, I am trying to make a Christmas card whenever I get a chance!

Am I losing it??

I think I am!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Did you all take advantage of the Black Friday sale? I sure did! I woke up early Friday morning and went to the mall by myself! It was CROWDED! My husband thought I was crazy and didn't want to go with me so I asked him to take care of the kids while I go out for a few hours.

Anyway, why am I losing it? Well, I have been EXTREMELY forgetful these days! I actually FORGOT one of my DT assignments! Oh my gosh! That NEVER happened to me! I felt so bad! I have been thinking about it the last few days, for real!

I made this card a couple of weeks ago, thought I shared it on my blog but guess what? Nope! I listed it on my Etsy store but FORGOT to post it here! Oh my gosh! Am I getting old?? Or am I really losing it??

I used Matilda from The Greeting Farm. I used my new butterfly embossing folder! Like it?? :)

Backpack Combo

Wow! Has it been a week since I last posted? Time just flies by me!

It has been a while since I make anything but a card, a 3D project! I have sold a few sets of backpack/card combos in my Etsy store. They were all boyish sets. At a customer's suggestion/request, here is a set for a girl!

Backpack is great for practically anyone! It's big enough to hold a couple packs of snacks and the front pocket is large enough for a gift card!

I have been loving Some Odd Girls lately but haven't have the chance to play with any until now. I thought School Mae is perfect! What do you think??

Oh, just want to let you guys know that I still haven't forgotten about a couple of templates I promised I would post like FOREVER AGO! LOL You all know I am the world's biggest procrastinator by now! hehe

Sparkle Creations Challenge 68: Team Oliver vs. Team Josh

Hello!

For the next two weeks, we have a very fun challenge for you guys to follow at Sparkle Creations! The challenge: Team Oliver vs. Team Josh! If you are a Twilight fan, you probably know what this means. I for one was CLUELESS at first because I have never seen Twilight! I heard of it but never read the book or what the movies.

Anyway, we at Sparkle Creations are doing a little spin of our own because of the new Twilight release in November, Breaking Dawn. However you interpret this challenge, it is entirely up to you! Cool, yeah?

For my card today, I used Birthday Josh. I figure, you can never go wrong with a birthday card! LOL Papers are by My Mind's Eyes, Life of the Party.

I added Glossy Accents to the balloon.

On another note, I want to thank everyone who continue to visit my blog even when I haven't been blogging much, blog hop much. I have been pretty much an early bird nowadays (going to bed early). I used to go to bed around midnight but these days, I have been going around 9-ish. I know, a huge difference! I just have been so tired! Thursday Throwback at The Greeting Farm!

I LOVE Thursday Throwback at The Greeting Farm! It is a chance for me to play with my good older TGF stamps! I say that because crafting time is pretty limited for me these days so any chance I get to play ANY of my TGF stamps is GREAT!

Today I used the Miss Anya Lounge set. I have special memories with this set because this set was released when I was a Guest at Club Anya and Friends last year October! I still remember the excitement when Jess asked me! So yes, this set definitely has a special place in my heart! hehe

For the Miss Anya Lounge preview last October, I altered three mini notepads. I never gotten around to make a bag to go with each notepads so guess what I have to share today?? :) Three matching canva bags!

I am the world's biggest procrastinator so after a year, I finally got the complete set done! LOL These are for my son's preschool teachers, for Thanksgiving. I couldn't decide which bag is for who (there are a total of 7 teachers) so no personalization yet.

Oh yes, you probably want to know how I made these? :) I bought these canvas bags from Michael's. These bags measures approximately 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches.

I placed a piece of cardboard in the bag, to make sure I get a flat surface before stamping my image with Mememto ink. I then colored the image with Copic markers. It's actually very easy to color on fabric. The only thing to remember is DON'T color too close to the edge; otherwise, it will bleed. However, it if does bleed, just correct it with the colorless blender.

Well, that's all I have for you guys today! I hope you all enjoy looking at my little project as much as I enjoyed making them!

Hello!

It's time for previews at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! I love this time each month because I get to play with and share totally new images with everyone!

Today we are previewing Snow Bunny Lucy! Lucy is a must have! See how adorable she is??!!

Our current challenge is still in full swing so I thought I would play along! Sparkle Creations is sponsoring Party Time Tuesday this week so combined the two challenges: white on white (SCRS) and Bling (PTT).

I am currently loving White on White! It saves me a lot of time from choosing those right papers to go along the image! LOL The only things I have to worry about are what sketch to use (I used Stamp With Fun for this card, by the way) and what embossing folders to use. :)

The charm is handmade. I made some new style charms, just needed to list them on my Etsy store. These days, I have practically NO TIME to craft, browse the web or visit blogs. :(

For my card/project today, I went with the Furever set. I mentioned before how versatile this set is...good for any occasion, for cat or dog lovers alike!

I made this set of mini card with Butterfly Box set for someone special in mind! This set is for my November Secret Sister! You can find details on Kris' blog about Secret Sister Swap. I haven't sent this out yet so I am so sorry I can not reveal who it is yet! But I can tell you a few things about her! hehe She has a blog full of inspirational creations! Her creativity is top notch and oh my gosh, her coloring is totally out of this world!

Anyway, here is what I made for her:

A simple mini Autumn inspired card. The theme for November (Secret Sister) is Give Thanks. But since this card is so small and I couldn't find a place to insert a sentiment, I kept this card blank but with a Fall feel to it. You know, Fall-->November--->Thanksgiving--->Give Thanks! hehe

Here is a matching Butterfly Box. I was browsing through Splitcoast and found this and love it! It's not any usual box so I just have to try it myself! You know how much I love anything but a card stuff! LOL

Here is how it is once the box is opened. Of course, I am going to fill it up with some of my handmade goodies for my Secret Sister! :)

Sparkle Creations Challenge #67: White on White

Hello! It's time for another Sparkle Creations Challenge! Before I get to this week's challenge, I want to make a little announcement!

Starting with this challenge, Sparkle Creations is switching to a bi-weekly challenge, which means you have more time to play along with us! Even though we are switching to every other week, you will see weekly samples on SCRS blog to get your mojo flowing!

For the next two weeks, our challenge is WHITE ON WHITE! I LOVE this challenge! Why? No need to spend time at choosing the right patterned papers! LOL Plus, this is when you can use your neglected embossing folders! For me, at least! LOL Also, white has such an elegant feel!

I used Christmas Tree Ruby on my card. I am trying to work on as many Christmas cards as can. hehe We are in November already! Christmas is seriously not too far away!

We are previewing Creeper Saturday and Sunday today! For my card today, I used Saturday. My card is Halloween themed but I chose an everyday sentiment to go along it. A Halloween card does not have to have a Halloween sentiment, right? LOL

I used my leftover Basic Grey eerie papers. I don't have a lot of Halloween papers. LOL

Hello Farm friends!

This month has really flown by, hasn't it? We hope you've enjoyed the 5 clear stamp sets we released at the beginning of the month and hope you'll join us for some more fun and chatter on November 1st when The Greeting Farm brings you another character-packed release!

That's right! We're back this month with some brand-spankin' new additions to our very beloved line of TGF characters and we are covering ALL the bases this month! We've got a new Sprout, TWO new Creepers, and an Anya that will have you at HELLO, believe me!

Speaking of HELLO's, we have a VERY exciting announcement today too! Please welcome KRIS PALAKIKO to our Design Team as our November Guest! Sparkle Creations Challenge #66: No coloring

I love this week's challenge at Sparkle Creations! Why? It's a NO COLORING challenge! I love to color but every once a while, I get lazy. LOL Plus, the no coloring technique is great when you don't have a lot of time!

A Wedding Card

Sparkle Creations Challenge #65

Hello there!

Welcome to another Sparkle Creations Challenge! This week we are onto challenge #65 and it's a phone inspiration!

I think I mentioned previously how I am not so good with color challenges and photo inspiration challenges. LOL

This is my card. See what I mean? I was actually trying to go with the colors. LOL I guess the Fall theme goes with it too. hehe

Once again, I used Fall Charlotte. I do enjoy coloring her. She is such a beauty!

More Cards For the Kids

Hello! hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

I was able to make two more cards for Kris to send to the kids! Yay!

This first one I used this cute bear from Lily of the Valley. I bought this stamp earlier this year. Yes, it was my first time inking it! LOL I have A WHOLE LOT of brand new stamps I haven't inked up yet! But guess what? I am going to share some of those with you guys! I'll post that soon. I have been pretty lazy on blogging lately.... :(

Can you tell how much I LOVE The Greeting Farm images/stamps? :) Yup, whenever I get a chance, I use my TGF stamps! For this card, I used this adorable Lolli Anya! This is actually a recycled colored image from my carousel project a while back. My kids tore it apart when I wasn't looking! :( I was able to save my colored images.

I plan on making a few more of these mini cards for Kris. I do enjoy making them, especially when they are for a good cause.

Before I sign ff, I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes, on this blog and on Facebook. My birthday was just like any other day, work. LOL I did enjoy a good dinner with hubby and the kiddies.

Hello!

I am slowly but surely working on a few cards for Kris. For anyone who wants to send some cards to brighten a child's day, click HERE and find out! I made three so far! LOL I am getting there! hehe

All these cards are 4x4 and with no embellishments. I must say, the no embellishment rule is kind of tough to follow! LOL I am so used to adding at least some sort on my cards! LOL

For this first one, I used this cute sleigh from The Greeting Farm's Clear Christmas set.

This fun Christmas tree is from the Clear Christmas set as well. The sentiment is perfect!

This one I used the little panda from La La Land Crafts. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

I am hoping I can work on a few more so I can send them off to Kris next week. Wish me luck!

Welcome to the final preview day at Sparkle Creations! Today we are previewing this beautiful Sunflower Charlotte! I colored Charlotte with Copic markers. I was haven't difficulty with coloring Charlotte's dress. I have LOTS of Copics but who knew I don't don't have YG61 and YG63! I actually had to mix like five different greens to get this color! LOL Oh and my sunflowers came out a little too orangey! LOL I had a tough time with that too!

We got some rain here in LA the other day and it's getting cold here! I can't wear my capri's anymore! LOL

Hello! It's time to preview new images at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! Today we are previewing Autumn Rin!

I totally wasn't thinking about Autumn until after I colored Rin PINK! I just thought Rin would look so pretty in pink! LOL Well, I guess pink can be an Autumn color, if you want it to be! LOL

I colored Rin with Copic markers. I used opaque white uniball pen to make the pattern on Rin's kimono. Ribbon flower is handmade.

I used Cupcake Ruby on this card. I colored her with Copic markers. I usually don't color black hair because I am not good at it. When I do, I use Prismacolor pencils. But for Ruby's hair, I used Copic.

Hello, again, everyone! Well, we've covered babies so far at The Greeting Farm, did you think we would leave your pets out? Not a chance! How CUTE is this new clear stamp set, titled "FUR-ever"??? Awwww. Whether you have a fantastic feline or precious pup, this is definitely a must-have for all pet lovers out there, kids and adults alike!

Oh my gosh! I simply ADORE this set! I don't have any pets at home but I have a few friends who lots cats and dogs and this set is perfect to make cards for them!

Here is a card I made for one of my cat lover friend whose birthday is coming up. I used used my new banner die and my new stack of My Mind's Eyes Life of the Party papers. Sketch is by Sketch Saturday.

The Greet Farm Preview: Build A Onesie - Boy

Hey, everybody! If you've been keeping up with this week's previews at The Greeting Farm, you know we're right in the middle of a FULL week of October previews and the excitement is building! We are BURSTING with excitement about what's to come in the next few days, not to mention our FIVE amazing October releases!

On that note, did ya think we left the BOYS out? Not a chance! Introducing "BUILD A ONESIE: boy!" This cute counterpart to the "BUILD a ONESIE: girl" set that we previewed yesterday will be released on October 1st in clear polymer, quality stamps and I can't wait to show you what I made with it: another simple card! :)

Well, I usually pretty baby cards to be simple anyway. Since this card is so simple, there is really not much to talk about it. LOL All I did was colored this onesie, cut it out and popped it with foam tape onto embossed with cardstock. LOL Oh, I added the three mini buttons too!

Hello! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

My project today was inspired by my dear friend, 1Luvnmama of Luvn The Journey. Mama sent me one of these little purse/treat box...let's call it treat box purse (LOL)..a while back and I love how it looks and how simple it is to make. So, I finally got some time to make one myself yesterday.

I used this adorable fairy from The Greeting Farm's Fairy Princess set. The little fairies are perfect size for tags!

This purse measures 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches. It's big enough to hold quite a few things. I made the flower using four prima flowers. All I did was layered them, secured it with a brad and added stickle.

Here is how it looks when opened.

I made this purse for wonderful friend's birthday. Her birthday was earlier this month. If you know me, I procrastinate so I am sending this to her late. LOL

New Digi Preview At The Greeting Farm!

Yup! You read it right! The Greeting Farm is releasing this ADORABLE, SEXY Cheeky Kitty tomorrow, September 15th! She's a digi so no need to wait for her in the mail!

Farm Fresh Challenge blog has a fun sketch this week and I just have to play along! I don't usually make round cards so this is a PERFECT chance!

This card measures 5 1/2 in diameter. My Martha Stewart circle cutter did the job! LOL If you don't have one, you have got to get one! It cuts so precisely and so easily too! I don't use it often but this is not my first time using it by the way.

Look! I was able to find a cat charm in my stash to go with Miss Cheeky Kitty!

What do you think of the green hair? LOL I wanted to try something new so coloring green hair is pretty new to me. hehe I even used a new set of skin color for her. I used E53, E51, E50. I don't usually use these colors for skin tone.

September Secret Sister

Hello! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I decided to send in my September Sister Swap card early...I mean on time, LOL.. The theme for this month is to use red, orange and brown...at least use one of these colors. I used Princess Anya no. 3 from The Greeting Farm and dressed her with a red gown.

My sewing machine is acting, not sure what's going on with it. It took me a while to sew this card and the sewing is just horrible!

My card today is also for this week's challenge at Lollipop Crafts, which is to use eyelets or brads. I am still with Lollipop Crafts, just haven't have much time to make creations for the challenges. LOL Thanks so much to my wonderful friend, co-owner of Lollipop Crafts, Kris, for doing a great job at running the blog! I want to thank our awesome for all the beautiful creations each week as well!

Proud As A Peacock

Hello friends!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

We were planning on going to Legoland this weekend but cancelled it the last minute because my son was sick. I guess we can always go some other time. I mean, it's pretty close by. It's no more than two hours away. LOL

Anyway, I want to share these two peacock cards with you! I made these for the Our Craft Lounge 2011 Summer CHA samples. I tend to forget what I posted or not when I put my cards/projects away. You know, out of sight, out of mind! LOL

I used this proud peacock from the Proud As A Peacock set. This is a brand new set just recently released. It comes with some awesome sentiments too! I totally recommend this!

Well, gang, that's all for now. I haven't have much time to craft hence the lack of posts. I need to send some thank you cards out too but haven't have the time to get things together. I have got to get more organized! LOL

Here's my my project that I previewed only a snippet of back on Friday: A handbag! When I frist saw this set, I knew right away what I wanted to do...a bag! I wanted to make something new but couldn't figure out what. Then I remembered my Coach purse so I sort of CASE it.

This is a rather simple bag but it did take me quite some time to finish it. i think the sewing part took me the longest. Can you tell I couldn't sew curves? LOL

Sparkle Creations Challenge #58: ABC

Hello there!

Challenge at Sparkle Creations is my favorite! Can you guess what it is?? Anything But A Card (ABC)! Yup, I love to see and create non card projects! Well, I love making cards too! LOL

Yup, I made backpacks again! These are great for back to school! The are great for any day of the school, actually. Oh which reminds me, I still need to work on the template for you guys! I haven't forgotten about that or you guys. I jotted down all the measurements when I was working on these backpack gift bag/gift card holders. I just needed to get them on my computer.

Anyway, I used the sentiment from Bookworm Ruby and you may not see him clearly but Backpack Oliver is on the tag as well.

These backpacks are time consuming to make but I do enjoy making them! I actually just finished another one...non school-themed!

The Greeting Farm Snippet of Miss Anya Set

Hello, Farm friends....or should I say, FASHIONISTAS? Well, we're assuming there are some fashionistas out there amongst you all!

I'm here to preview just a tiny tease of a BRAND NEW MISS ANYA set coming to The Greeting Farm! WOO HOO! We know it's been a while, and we heard ya loud and clear that a new Miss Anya set was wanted by many... can you GUESS what the theme is?

Well, we're hoping you'll figure it out somewhere along the way, but for now, we have a SUPER FUN contest to announce! Remember our "Club Anya Couture" contest from a few years past? Well, we're vampin' and AMPING it up this time in search of our latest "FARM FASHIONISTA!"

What does that mean? One lucky winner who shows us the most fashion and flair will WIN the ENTIRE SPETEMBER release...and there are FOUR new releases including the new Miss Anya set to be revealed on the 1st!

It's gonna be a BRIGHT and SUNSHINY day for sure at The Greeting Farm! Hooray!

Today is the day- two new sets are available for purchase as we are proud to debut our new line of CLEAR stamps! (you can insert pics again here-watermarked, attached :)

Here is my project using the Fairy Princess set.

I was on a roll with shrink dings so I decided to make a pair of earrings! some of you asked how I do I keep my shrink ding flat. The secret? The oven! hehe I tried using the heating gun but it never comes out the way I wanted it. The last few times, I used the oven and I love the result!

I tried something new with shrink plastic this time. I stamped and colored on both sides of the plastic! It worked! These earrings are reversible! I used Copic and Spica glitter pen this time, no colored pencils.

Earrings are made of fauceted glass beads, crackle glass beads and shell beads. They measure about 3 inches in length.

The Greeting Farm PREVIEW: Bantastic and Fairy

Hey, everyone!

I am back to fully reveal what may have been just a cloudy snippet yesterday... did you see through our little surprise or are you CLEARLY stumped?

Well, wonder no more because some of the cherished members of the TGF alum along with the Farmers are thrilled to bring you a BRAND NEW line by TGF:

CLEAR STAMPS!!!!

Before we go any further, these stamps are not replacing our rubber line. We are testing the waters to bring you some fun new designs, and most of all QUALITY stamps! To add to the fun, we also have the opportunity to bring you some RE-RELEASES, in addition to NEW releases and we are excited to get started with our first two sets!

INTRODUCING.....

BANTASTIC and MY FAIRY PRINCESS

Did you guess bows from my snippet?? Yup, bows! Hairbows!! These little fairies are a little smaller than the original rubbers. These are PERFECT size for shrink dings! Since I wanted to make some new bows for my Etsy store, I decided to make some with these cute fairies!

These bows are approximately 4 1/2 inches. Bows are made of grosgrain ribbons. Since feathers are in trend these days, I added a couple on each bows. Let me tell you, feathers are so messy to work with! They fly EVERYWHERE! LOL These bows are attached to a French barrette.

If you have never worked with shrink dings before, they are very easy to use. You can find instructions on the package. The shrink plastic I used here are clear ones. I sanded it off a little with fine sand paper and then stamped the fairies with StazOn jet black ink. I used Brilliance ink before but that smears when you try to color the image.

I colored the images with prisma color pencils and Copic and then ran them through my cuttlebug with the standard circle spellbinder die. I inked up the edges with Cat's Eye ink.

After I baked them, they are about an inch in size...perfect size! I added a layer of glossy accent to give them a glossy look.

I LOVE how these came out so I will definitely make more of these soon!

I bought a pack (eight sheets) of sports patterned paper from the dollar section at Target a long while ago and never knew what to do with it...until now. I thought it's perfect to go with Football Josh! The colors are bright but it's okay, I like bright colors!

I am not a big fan of sports so I kept this card simple.

Throwback Thursday is a brilliant idea! We love our new stamps but how often do we neglect the good oldies? Didn't we love them just as much when they were new? I know I have neglected one or two or LOTS of my older stamps!

Throwback Thursday at The Greeting Farm is dedicated to showcase those wonderful cute stamps we haven't inked up in a while. For my card today, I decided to play with Princess Ava from the Twinkle Tots Collection! Oh my gosh! When the Twinkle Tots collection was first released, I had to get the entire set like the second it was available!

This is my second white on white card for the week. Yes, I love white on white because it makes the image pop! Plus, don't you think it's elegant? :) Oh yes, I put my embossing folders to good use! LOL

Sparkle Creations Challenge #55: Photo Inspiration

Hello! This week at Sparkle Creations, our challenge is this gorgeous photo inspiration!

I decided to go with the colors but my green is a little too bright. Oh well, it will do! LOL

How many embossing folders do you guys own but hardly use? These are a must but how often do we really use them? Well, I have a lot of them and I don't use them often enough. So for this card, I decided to put them to good use! I used two different embossing folders here but originally I used three. The other just didn't fit in.

For my card, I used Cherry Blossom Rin. I colored her with Copic. But I mixed it with a touch of prismcolor color pencils...more so on the hair part. Recently, I love mixing the two!

The pearl stickpin is handmade by me. Some are available at my Etsy store. I don't promote my Etsy store often. Can you tell I am not a business person? LOL

My card features the Butterfly Kisses set. I love this set! Well, I LOVE all The Craft's Meow stamps! They are so versatile, so fun to play with!

For my card, I stamped the fairy with Versa Mark and used Ranger's gold embossing powder. I have three different brand of gold embossing powder but I like this one the most! It heat sets so easily and it gives this nice shiny gold tone to the image! Well, it is gold. LOL

We know it's said all over the cyber-world, but we TRULY appreciate and understand the fact that if it weren't for all of you, TGF would not be anywhere near the community and business it is today and for that we are truly grateful.

As for my special project....get ready for LOTS of pics!!! LOL

This is an explosion box. A scrapbook in an explosion bow with altered gift card holder/clip. I used Birthday Ian for the lid. The outside of the box is just, well, another ordinary box. I kept it plain an simple.

As for the inside....viola!!

The first layer (the smallest ones) are pretty plain.

Okay, so these pics are not in order. LOL The tag pages are the second layers. A couple of the tags are removable.

I didn't add any pics to the layouts because my intention was to put this box up for sale at my Etsy store. I am having second thoughts though since this took me sometime to finish it. LOL Well, I did finish it sooner than expected so I am actually amazed at myself. hehe Another reason is I might have a hard time parting it. LOL Plus, how do you price something like this?

This is a pretty good size box, measuring 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. I used kraft for the base and mostly atd birthday papers. I think I used about 10 12x12 papers for this box...plus some scraps. I also used chipboard stickers by K& Company.

The Craft's Meow August Preview: Tandem

Hey there! Today is the final preview at The Craft's Meow! Today we are previewing Tandem!

I got a little lazy and decided not to color my image. LOL I stamped the bicycle and the sentiment directly onto the card base. I then added two rolls of grass using my grass border punch. I kind of like how it came out!

The Greeting Farm August Preview: OA Surprise!

Surprise, surprise!! Today we are previewing OA Surprise set at The Greeting Farm!

What EXPLOSION I have to share? Well, an explosion purse! I found this tutorial a while back and attempted to make some samples...just never got a chance to finish them. LOL I got one done today as you can see! LOL

I used Amelia for this purse. I even used her to make this patterned paper! I simply randomly stamped her all over the cardstock.

I even make a mini card to match this purse! I actually stamped Amelia on white cardstock and shrank her to 50%. I used the copier by the way since my scanner is still no hooked up yet. Yeah, I know it has been months already. LOL

Here is how it looks once you open the purse. It's big enough to hold a few goodies.

Inside the purse, I made two pockets, one for the mini card and another one for a gift card.

So what do you think? This make a wonderful birthday present, don't you think? hehe

For My July Secret Sister...

Hello! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Today, I am sharing this matchbox four-drawer chest with matching card using Blush Bonnie and the sentiment from Blush Babette. This set is for my July Secret Sister. If you don't know what SSS is, please visit Kris' blog for more info! As a matter of fact, Kris is accepting August sigh ups right now!

This chest is very simple to make. I simply made four match boxes and stacked them together! This chest measures 4x3x3.

For this card, I followed the sketch at Descontructed Sketch.

Birthday Card for Someone Special

I tend to make more Birthday card than anything others. Everyone (well, almost everyone) celebrates his/her birthday, right?

I made this card for a friend whose birthday is in a few days. I used Blush Bobette on this card. Papers are by K&Company.

Well, I am busy behind the scene again with new releases for August. You guys are gonna LOVE the releases from my design teams! OMG! They are simply FAB!!

My all time favorite is this pretty Charlotte With Rose! You guys probably know by now since I always say it! LOL I love coloring her dress!

I followed this fun sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch. I paired it with Berry Sweet papers by K&Company. I used my new label 15 on this card as well!

A Simple Hi

Hello!

It has been a super busy week for me. I have been busy working on CHA cards and totally did not get a chance to share this card! Well, that plus I am coming down with a cold....caused from lack of sleep, rest, I am sure. I am going to rest up tonight...no crafting. Hopefully, the cold goes away by the weekend.

Here is a card I created earlier this week using TGF's recently released Piper. This picture came out kind of dark because I totally didn't realize my flash was not ready at the time. I know, most of you guys don't use flash when taking your pics but I have to! I take all my pictures at night, like 11:00pm so a flash is a must!

Anyhoo, hope everyone is having a great week and ready for the weekend!

Sparkle Creations Challenge #51: Christmas In July

Hey there!

I love this week's challenge at Sparkle Creations! What's the challenge, you ask? Christmas in July! This challenge is perfect to get everyone started with Christmas cards! Christmas is not that far away!

I used Holiday Emily on my card. I decided to go with the traditional green and red colors since I bought two packs of these Making Memories papers a while back. Yup, you will be seeing a lot more of traditional Christmas color cards.
