I used Nurse Lucy on my card. Did you notice?  I colored lighter color for hair this time around?  I usually go with dark brown.

Hope you guys can play along with us!  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July

Hello! I want to share this card I made a long while back.  I have quite a few draft posts with cards/projects I haven't shared yet.

If I remember correctly, I followed one of Jen's sketched at Deconstructed Sketch.  I am having really bad memories these days.  People say the baby took some of my memories.  LOL

I used this adorable Miss Madelynn from the first The Greeting Farm Twinkle Tots series. I couldn't remember her name so I had to search the web. LOL  Have I ever told you guys I am really really bad with stamp names?  It's true!  I simply can not keep up with them!  I guess because there are so many, I have so many??  Maybe it's just me..  LOL

Farm Fresh Friday is to use Dies or punches.  I used both on this card so it's perfect for the challenge!

Anyone want to guess what I have been up to?  :)  Jewelry!  For the past couple of weeks, I have been working on earrings and bracelets.  I made eight pairs of earrings and eight bracelets so far.  I am working on listing them on my Etsy store.  I am thinking of having another Etsy store just for my jewelry.  Should I? Any suggestions?

Okay, I want to do a little survey.  What type/kind/style of necklace, earrings and bracelets are you guys interested in?  I am thinking my next jewelry project is going to be my August Sketch Challenge prize.  Any ideas?

Alrighty, gonna get some zzzz's before the little guy wakes up.  Have a great one, everyone!

Sparkle Creations Challenge #84

Hello, hello! We have a CELEBRATION Challenge at Sparkle Creations for everyone to play along the next couple of weeks!  Since it is our 2nd Anniversary this month, a Birthday card is a must, right?

I used Cupcake Ruby on my card.  As you can see, I used LOTS of stickle on the frosting! I wanted to use glitter originally but thought it was too messy to play with...too lazy to clean up.  LOL

Sentiment is by Lily of the Valley.  Papers are by Bo Bunny.

Alrighty, hope you can play along with us! Don't forget, you must use a Sparkle Creations image to qualify for a chance to win!

Hello there! Wow! Can you believe it? I have another challenge card!  See?  I am SLOWLY TRYING to get back into the crafting world more!

This card is for the current challenge over at Saturated Canary, which is BLING IT OUT!  There is actually a lot of sparkle on this card but my photography skill does not do this card justice!

This image is called Cinders.  I bought this digi a while back but never gotten the time to play with.  When I first saw all the Saturated Canary images flowing in blogland, I didn't care much for them.  They just don't seem to be my style. LOL  But over time, I LOVE them!  I think they are different, unique!  They have a "funky" style...very cool images!

I colored this image with copics and Prisma color pencils.  I added diamond glaze to the pumpkin. For the bow and her shoes, I added ice stickle, very sparkly.  Stinpins are handmade by me and are available at my Etsy store. I added lots of new items in the store, by the way.

Updates on my little one and me...

Baby Lucas is growing fast!  He's seven weeks now and wears size 6 months clothes already!  He is such a good baby!  He rarely cries, only a little when he's hungry.  He loves to stare at faces and wants to talk to you by making little cute sounds.

As for me, I am still on maternity leave. I go back to work next month.  I am enjoying every moment I spend with my little one (and craft a little :)) in the meantime!

Alrighty, I am going to try to work on a card before the little guy wakes up.  Hope everyone have a fabulous day!

Other challenges:
The Cutie Pie Challenge:  Glitter and Bling
Stampin' Sisters in Christ:  Sparkle

Sparkle Creations July 2012 Preview: Festive Rin

Hello my blogging friends!

Today we are previewing Festive Rin at Sparkle Creations!  For some reason, Rin reminds me of Cleopatra, must be her outfit!
Oh and did mention how easy it is to color her up!

I thought Rin would look good in a pocket card and since I haven't made one in a while, here it is!  What do you think? :)

I used my July sketch for this card.  For those of you who don't know, I host a monthly sketch challenge on my blog.  I post a new sketch on the 1st of each month.

This is what it looks like once the tag is removed.

Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Festive Rin . Sparkle will be giving away Festive Rin to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (list below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Your Highness Rin post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced on Monday!

Yumi & Fumi Crafts Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Yumi & Fumi Handmade Crafts Blog Hop! If you've stopped here from Eva's blog then you are on the right track. If not head on over to the Yumi & Fumi Handmade Crafts blog to start at the beginning. You will find all the information there including prizes up for grabs, and the blog hop list. The hop starts today and will run until Sunday, July 15th at Noon PST. That means you have 4 days to hop, comment, and look around. There will be hidden prizes so be sure to comment on each blog to be in the running.

Now let me introduce you to Fumi with Gift!

This stamp measures 3.25"x 2.43' but the best part is that she is scroll cut and indexed for easy stamping. That means no cutting and you can see where you stamp.

It has been a while since I made a pocket card/criss cross card and so I thought Fumi With Gift is perfect for it!  I colored Fumi with Gift with Copic of course. She is so fun and easy to color!  I especially LOVE LOVE to color her hair!

Sentiment is by Hero Arts.  This is definitely a day to celebrate at Yumi & Fumi Handmade!  Inside sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

 COPICS: Hair: E59, E57, E55 Skin: E11, R01, R00, R000, R20  Outfit: YR18, YR16, YR23, B99, B95, B93, B91, E23, C3, C1, RV66, RV63, RV55, white gelly roll pen

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to become a follower and leave a comment. Next on the hop is... ROSEMARY!   If you get lost along the way, please hop over to our blog for the complete list!

Feeling Sketchy

Happy happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I finally went out with my family for a brunch after caving in for over a month! Yup, ever since my little one was born, I stayed indoor!  I literally did not step out the door, not even just to the yard!

Sparkle Creations is sponsoring Feeling Sketchy all month long!  This week, you are in for a chance at winning Swimming Lucy and Charlotte With Rose.  Here is this week's sketch:

Here is my take.  I flipped it over.  :)

I used Expecting Emily on this card.  The sentiment comes with the cutie.

July 2012 Sketch

Hello there!

Time sure flies!  We are in July already!  Pretty soon Christmas is here!

Today is a start of another sketch here at Kimbee's Creations!  It seems only yesterday I started this little challenge of mine!  We are on sketch #6 already!  Wow!  I know I said this many times already but I want to say it again because I am seriously so grateful for everyone's support!  If anyone has any suggestions, comments, ideas about my sketches, I would love to hear them!  Are they easy to follow?  Too complicated?  Just right?  Need more samples?  Any and all comments are welcome!

I didn't forget about the past winners.  :)  Here they are!  If you are on this list, please email me at with  your contact info and I will send you a little something, just my way of thanking you for your support!

April 2012: Thanh Vo
May 2012: Lacey Stephens

Here is this month's sketch!  Sample to come soon!

Some of you already knew (from FB) but for those who don't know, my baby boy was born last month.  He is six weeks old now!  He's growing up so fast!

I am slowly trying to get back to crafting.  The key word:  TRY.  LOL So far it has been pretty difficult to find time but I am TRYING to adjust to my new "schedule".  I will need to adjust again once I go back to work.

I have quite a few posts  planned ahead so please do come back soon to see what I have to share!

Have fun with this sketch!  Have a fabulous day!
