Today is a very special day to me, it's not only my day to post (hehe), it also my son's birthday! My little guy is turning three today! Time certainly flies! I remembered he was just a tiny baby!

I kept today's card pretty simple. Seriously, I haven't been crafting in a few days and my mojo is slowly slipping away! Even as simple as this one, it took a two days to finish and my image was colored weeks ago already! LOL

For this card, I used Sweet Dreams Marci. I used this leftover pretty paper from earlier this year. I think it's a Valentine's Day paper. LOL One of my New Year resolution is to TRY to use most of my scraps.

Well, that's all I have today! I do hope everyone have a Happy, Healthy New Year!

Some of My Favorites For 2010

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great week!

I have been seeing lots of faves for 2010 so I want to join in the fun...just for fun! It was hard for me to narrow it down to 10 so I chose 12!

These are not in any particular order...

I made this card as a GDT for Club Anya and Friends in October. I CASE'D my own card! LOL

This was the little vanity box I made and won during the TGF hop in November. Yay! My daughter LOVES the hair clips!

This was the album I won for the Altered Notebook contest over at the TGF. It was so hard for me to part this album! Yes, I spent all my $150 already! LOL The stamps I bought were mostly for friends for Christmas.

This was made for TGF hop in November as well. I enjoyed very much making this and my son LOVES it!

Love the tag! Gonna have to try this again!

Love fancy fold cards! I made this for the Tootin' Wednesday while being a GDT at Club Anya and Friends.

This one was made while being a DT at Spesch Designer Stamps! I totally adore Spesch images! If only I have more time...

Cocktail Emily is one of my many fave stamps at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! I love that this card has lots of white!

I love my Tilda's but sadly I don't have much time to play with them!

I made this for Lisa's birthday! She loves teacups so this is so perfect for her! Fancy Marci looks so pretty!

Ahhh....cake...paper cake for my kiddies' birthday party! Everyone was so surprised I made these from scrap!

Another winner! hehe Yup, I made this set for my mom for Mother's Day. I won at TGF!

I want to thank everyone's continuous support this past year! Without your support, encouragement, advice, I would never make it this far in my crafting journey. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart! I do hope you all enjoy viewing my projects as much as I enjoyed making them and sharing them!

Cake Anyone?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

So I have been baking as you can see. LOL I have this cake template forever and finally decided to make a cake...or two. I made two cakes for my kids' birthday party. We were going to have the kids' birthday party this coming Sunday but it looks like it's going to rain again so we are having it today, on Christmas day.

At first, I wanted to make one cake only, for my daughter. That's why it's pink. LOL But after I made one and loved it some much, I made another one! These will be sort of my centerpieces. Well, actually, it's more of part of the candy buffet.....a mini one. LOL

I filled each slice with Hersey's kisses.

After making two, I still wanted more cake so I started a third one already. LOL If I only have the Sizzle Pro with the cake die. LOL That would for sure save me a lot of time!

Anyway, hope everyone have a great Christmas! Enjoy with friends and family!

Back to Birthday Cards

Happy Christmas Ever, everyone!

I am taking a little break from making Christmas cards so today I want to share this Birthday card with Fancy Marci. I tend to make mostly Birthday cards because they are always come in handle! They other thing that comes in handy are gift card holders. I am hoping I can get a head start on those. I needed a few for this Christmas and I didn't have them.

Anyway, on my last week's post at La La Land Crafts, a reader commented that it would be helpful to include the Copic colors I used on the images. Unfortunately I can not include this info on all my posts since I color on the go a majority of the time. I only color about 5% of my images at home. Plus because I don't use my colored images right away, I seriously do not remember the exact colors I used on the images. I do apologize that.

I didn't use too many colors on this Fancy Marci so I will include this info. :)

Okie dokie, I do hope you guys are all prepared for Christmas! Wishing everyone a fabulous Christmas!

Copic colors used:
E11, E00, E000, C3, E79, E74, E71, R85, R83, R81

No Cards But...

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great week! Besides the rain, it has been not too bad on my side of the world. I love the rain but I seriously don't want it anymore, especially not this coming weekend! We originally wanted to have the kids' party last weekend but it rained so we postponed to this weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I thought I would share some other crafts besides cards today. I have been working on these Santa's hats since October and finally got them done on Monday! I crocheted a little each night and got a dozen done! I could've finished them a long time ago if I didn't procrastinate. LOL Shown here are eleven. My nephew took one home already. I used I think four different yarns (not the number of keins but the type/testure) even though they are all just black and white.

I wanted to make something quick for some of my co-workers and here are what I came up with. I bought a bunch of acrylic 3.5 x 5 frames from Joann's last month at 60% off plus my 20% coupon. Each came out to be practically nothing! It was an awesome deal so I bought a whole bunch! LOL I altered some of them into a Post It note holder.

Here is a closer look at the holder.

I have these large book binders for like forever and finally put them to good use! I altered them into photo clips, to match the Post It note holders.
I used all scraps on these projects. Gotta get rid of some scraps! LOL
I have been baking so I will share some sweets hopefully soon!
Okie dokie...I hope everyone is staying dry and warm and ready for Christmas! Christmas is in only three days and I am so not ready! I still haven't finished shopping yet!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #21 - Fancy Folds

Hello! Is it Monday already? Time sure flies! Christmas is in less than a week and I am so not ready!!!

It has been pouring here in LA so we postponed my babies' birthday party. We don't have a date yet but if the weather is okay this weekend, then party.

Today is another fun challenge at Lollipop Crafts. Due to the Holidays, this will be our last challenge of the year. We are extending this challenge to January 15th, 2011.

I am hosting this last challenge and I chose FANCY FOLDS as the theme.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Wags 'n Whiskers. One random winner will receive a set of LOVE digital stamps.

It's has been a while since I made an explosion card so I decided to make one!

For this card, I used this lovely Ballerina Tilda. I love coloring Tilda's hair!

For more inspiration, please hop over to Lollipop Crafts!
Well, that's all I have for now. I am hoping I can post some non card crafts soon. Thank you all so much for stopping by! Have a great one, everyone!

You guessed it! I have a Christmas card to share today! LOL I decided to play with Winter Marci. She's all dressed, ready to go out in the rain. :) Yeah, it's raining here and it will continue to rain until next week. Sparkle Creations Challenge: Stitching

Hello, hello!

My babies are turning two and three this month and we are having a little family get together to celebrate their bdays this weekend. It's only going to be my family but I wanted to make some favors for my nieces and nephews. I have been trying so hard to get them done but I just don't have enough time to do everything! How I wish there are 48 hours in a day! LOL

Oh, I took my kiddies to JC Penny for their annual Christmas pictures this last weekend and boy was it difficult to get a good shot of them! They kept making funny faces!

Anyway, today is the start of another fun challenge at Sparkle Creations! Our theme this week is STITCHING, real or faux. I went with real. Gotta make good use of my machine! LOL But as you can see, I seriously need more practicing! I almost mess up this card!

For this card, I used Elf Oliver. I went with traditional colors this time because I haven't made too many cards with these colors. As a matter of fact, I don't have that many Christmas papers with these colors....funny, but true!

This week is our last challenge of the year. We will start back on January 4th. This will be a nice break since I really need it! I still have so much to do and so little time!

Well, that's all I have for you guys today. Be sure to check out my teammates' awesome creations at our blog! Better yet, visit their blog and give them some love!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #20 - Christmas Tags

Hello! Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to anther great week! Christmas is in about two weeks and I still haven't sent my cards out yet! As a matter of fact, I am still trying to get as many done as I can at the moment! Yeah, I started way early this year with my Christmas cards but I failed to make at least one a week so now I really don't have that many. :(

Anyway, it's a whole new challenge at Lollipop Crafts starting TODAY! Kris is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to make CHRISTMAS TAGS! Believe or not, my Christmas tags are store bought. I usually get than after Christmas so I have lots of them. I also have a lot of gift wraps as well. LOL Yup, I am one of those people who stock up stuff when I find good deals. LOL

Our sponsor this week is FAIRY KNOLLS and they are so generous to provide our team with some digis to play with!

This is something I almost do...forget to check the theme before working on my creation! When I printed this Jingle Bells, I intended to make a card. Fortunately, I remembered at the last minute and checked! Anyway, my printed image was a little too big so I made a large tag! It's a 4x6 tag! It's tag note card! Well, I really should make a few small tags but I didn't have much time to start all over.

Since I have bits and pieces left from my last card, I just used them on this tag! Not too bad, eh?

Want more inspiration? Please check out my teammates' creations at Lollipop Crafts! Hope you can play along with us!

Have a wonderful week, everyone! As always, I appreciate your visit and all your encouraging comments!

Sparkle Creations Release Day!

Hello there!

Today we are releasing two adorable Valentine’s Day stamps at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! Yesterday, we previewed Cupid Emily. Don’t you just love her? Isn’t she just the sweet? Today we are previewing Valentine Oliver.

For my card today, I followed the sketch over at Lily of the Valley. Once again, I used My Mind’s Eyes papers, the Be Loved collection. I colored Oliver with Copic and added some glitter to the heart box.

Want a chance at winning Valentine Oliver? Be sure to visit my teammates, leave some love along the way and then hop over to our blog! Leave a comment there for your chance!

Here is the complete list of the hop if you get lost along the way!

On another note, I have been so busy lately…doing a lot of things and at the same time, nothing! If you are a follower, you probably noticed I haven’t been keeping up with my posts. I haven’t been able to comment as often as well…I am sure some of you noticed. LOL

Well, I am super duper busy at work, backing up for one of my co-worker while she is on maternity leave for three months. She's in a different office so I have been going back and forth....lots of driving. Man, I have so much work it’s not even funny! I am constantly rushing to get things done!

Then on my days off, I have appointments here and there so I really didn’t get to craft as much as I wanted, hoped. Oh, did I tell you guys I got my wisdom pulled? Man, that hurts! Thank goodness I only have one! The others are under my gum so dentist said not to worry about them for now.

I have other crafty stuff to share but I can never find the time to take picture of them. Hopefully soon!

Anyway, for now, have fun checking out all the awesome Valentine’s Oliver creations my teammates have to share! Good luck!

Santa Marci

Hello, hello!

It has been a while since I played with this cutie Santa Marci . I still love her since the second I set eyes on her!

I decided to put on a nice pink Santa's outfit for Marci. I like non traditional Christmas colors. See this tinsel ribbon? (I think that's what you call it.) Well, I don't remember when I got it but I thought it's neat so I went ahead and used it on this card. It looked kind of messy at first but after I trimmed it down, it's actually okay. What do you think? Cool?

The papers are by Daisy Bucket Designs. I think I got this paper at one of the scrapbook shows. So old! LOL

Okie dokie, that's all I have for today. I haven't been in much of a crafting mood for the past few weeks...and not very talkative either. I hope it's just the busy Holiday and that I will be back to my normal self soon!

Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy Friday! Woohoo!!!

Spesch New Release!

Great news! New images are available at Spesch Designer Stamps! This month, Spesch Stamps is releasing FOUR brand new images, designed by Sylvia!

I always do things the very last minute and so I made this card on a rush. I was hoping to get one more done with another image but just didn't have the time. I have been so lazy, so busy at the same time!

My card features this adorable Wendy! I was experimenting with my colored pencils again so as you can see, I sort of messed up this image.

Be sure to check out Spesch blog! My teammates have some fabulous creations to share!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, everyone!
