I still have some acetate left from my previous shaker card so I decided to make another. Except this time, I made it a shaker, folder card. This is my first time using The Greeting Farm images and I love them! They are so adorable! I colored the couple with Le Plume markers, Copic markers, and Sakura glitter pens.

Asian Dolls

Hello!
Today is the last day to get all the projects in for the Hero Arts' complementary challenge. Here is my last one using my Asian Dolls set with yellow and purple. This color combo is actually not too bad! I like it!

I did a little paper piecing for this card, first time doing this. If you look closely, it's the little boy's hat (the brim) and his outfit (embossed it as well). For the girl's top, I added a few gems to give it a nice finish touch.

Thinking of You

Hello, Everyone! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far.

Today I share with you a very cheerful card. :D What do you think? I used one of my Tilda images from my blog friend Denise. Thanks Denise! Doesn't Tilda look happy running toward you for a big hug?

This card is very simple to make. All I did was follow the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and tied bows on it. Instead of adding the usual prima flowers, I decided to make my own flower, a ribbon rose. I used to do a lot of paper folding, especially flowers. But instead of the using papers, I used a ribbon. I used a yellow brad to attach the rose together, very easy to make. I also clear embossed the yellow cardstock with my butterfly stamp by Hero Arts.

Can you guess how many challenges I am entering this for? :D

Shaker Card

Hi again!

This is my second post for tonight so please scroll down for the first one. You don't want to miss the first one!

This is my first time making a shaker card and I love how it came out! I see a lot of people having it so I thought why now join in the fun too. :D There are a lot of tutorials out there but if you are interested you can always check out Hero Arts. I visit them EVERYDAY! They have a great video tutorial on it. If you want to read the instructions instead, check out Jodi's blog. She has a really easy to follow toturial as well. Shaker cards are really easy to make. They only thing I don't like about them is that they are too bulky.

For my card, I used my new Asian Doll set from Hero Arts along with Hero Arts Butterfly with Fern stamp. I raised the butterfly with a sticky foam to give ti a more 3D look. I placed the shaker on the front of my card but I will try the other version the next time, which is to place the shaker inside the card.

My card fits the following challenges:

Cute teddy

Hope everyone's Monday is going great! I made a very simple, quick card today using scraps I have. I have piles and piles of scraps! I am sure everyone does as well.

This little teddy is one of Bee Crafty's. I've colored him a little ago. I've wanted to add some sort of curvy sentiment on this card but I don't have any individual alphabets. I guess that's something on my shopping list then. I'll add it on once I get it, I guess.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday and Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there!

We went to a brunch with my in-laws this morning and then my hubby and I went to visit my dad at Rose Hill (cemetery) afterward. I probably won't have time to do anymore crafting later because we are going out for dinner. I also need to help my hubby with some of his stuff.

Anyway, on to this card. This is an inspired card from Lin, with this card. She is one of the very talented win-a-day contest winners. I actually don't know why I like this particular one. I guess it just stands out for me and maybe the Hibiscus Style flower? I do like this stamp a lot.

Hi!

I haven't really been in the mood for crafting, not sure what happened. Actually, I haven't been in the mood to do anything. I guess I was having one of those moments.

This card has been on my mind since early this week but just never gotten around to it. So after dinner, I kind of push myself and got it done. Yay!

I finally got a chance to use this Hero Arts owl stamp I have for the longest, so long that I have already forgotten about it! Well, I always forget what I have. That's why I always end up getting the same stuff.

This card is for my eldest sister who will be 39 this August. Hopefully, she won't mind me putting her age on it.

I want to send Denise a Thank you card for such a wonderful RAK I received today, so I made this card using Bee Crafty's birdy alphabets.

When I went to the scrapbook show this past weekend, I got a couple of copic markers. I didn't know the color runs when you color! I guess I really need to practice more. Maybe I should get more copics first. LOL I now have only three, skin white, pink and green. I think I am going to search the net to see where I can get some for a good price.

Anyway, after I was done with the card, I realized that it fits a couple of challenges! Cool!

I was so happy to see the package when I got home from work. You should have seen the look on my face! You would think I've just won the lotto! I was so happy and excited!! Of course, my hubby thought I was crazy because he didn't know what I was happy about.

I love all of them. I am going to be really busy with them. :D

Berry Sweet

I found another sketch blog and I like the current sketch a lot! Go check out Twisted Sketches! I just had to join in the fun with that fun sketch.

For some reasons, I have been really clumsy and careless lately. First, I sent my brand new ATM card out by mistake. Thanks, Yvette for sending it back! Then, I noticed I haven't been reading all the fine prints when joining the challenges. Am I getting old before my age?! I hope not!

So with this sketch, I was in such a hurry to get my layout done that I forgot the fine prints AGAIN! After I was done with it, took the picture and went back to Twisted Sketches to double check on the sketch, I realized I have to use ribbons! Luckily, I am a ribbon person so this layout turned out fine after all. Whew!

See that felt flower? I actually made a flower with the different ribbons but decided not to use it because I didn't want it to take over my adorable princess' picture! :D It is a nice little ribbon flower though. I guess I can use it for my other projects.

Oh, one more thing, just when I thought everything was going smoothly, the flash on my camera was running out of battery! You should've seen me! Here I was holding my camera, waiting for the flash to come back on so I could take at least one picture! I think I was probably waiting for at least a good ten minutes to take just one. LOL

Anyway, here is my interpretation of the sketch. This layout is also for the challenge at Pile It On, using two different ribbons.

I was going to add a banana tree to give it a more "beachy" look but I haven't put the one I drew in digi format yet. :( So I guess she would have to do with just the flip flops background. I know, this card would look much better with a palm tree. This card didn't come out the way I wanted it but what's done is done. I guess I am not really in the crafty mood when I was making it. Sparkly Butterflies

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was okay. I went to a scrapbook show on Saturday, my first time and I loved it! I found some really cool stuff I haven't seen in the stores yet, at least not the stores close by. Also, I got so much inspiration from looking at all the demos and samples. I will definitely go again if they have another one, close by that is.

On weekends either I don't have time to do any crafts or too busy with the Hero Arts challenges. I just LOVE Hero Arts so much! Love their stamps, love their site, love their blog... I wish I win the lotto so I can get all of the stamps! LOL

This weekend I managed to made two cards before the deadline, which is Sunday, midnight. This week's challenge is die cuts and I find it a little hard. I don't use die cuts often and I certainly don't have a lot. I did, however, ordered several sets of spellbinders. I love how everyone's work is so nice with the die cuts so I want to join in the fun!

Origami Box

I made something other than a card this time! Yay! Lately, I have been so addicted to cardmaking that I neglected my other crafts. I probably mentioned this a million times already. Sorry! Please bear with me. This is ME. LOL

On to my beautiful origami box. Hehe. When I was younger, I loved origami. I would fold all kind of stuff. I guess I had a lot of time then. :) Who doesn't when you are little? Life is so careful! My favorite things to fold was flowers. I would fold different flowers, attached wires and leaves to them and then arrange them into a basket. A flower basket, you know. They are nice. Hmm..I might start that again.. anyway, enough rambling...

This origami box is super easy and quick to make. Project Tuesday has all the instructions. I didn't need to follow the instructions. I still remember how to make it. :) I never thought of decorating it though so this is new to me.

While blog hopping ( I love to do that too), I found Digiments and what do you know, they specialize in quotes and sentiments! So cool!! Check them out! They got some nice ones! This is one of them and it's FREE!!

Are you sick of looking at pink yet? :) I hope not! It's such a happy, romantic color. I am using PINK and WHITE for this card and you guess it, this week's theme at Allsort. Do you recognize this little cute girl who is about to chase the butterflies? She's one of Bee Crafty's many cute downloads. This is the image I won. Just Magnolia

I was frustrated when I put this card together because I couldn't find my stuff. I really need to be more organize. Better yet, I need a craft room!

This is my first time playing with Just Magnolia. I only have a couple of Tilda so I really didn't get a chance to play before. This card is for a few of challenges as well: Just Magnolia, this sketch, Color Create, rainbow colors and Creative Card Crew, geometric shapes.

Simply Adorable!

I need to catch up on my scrapbook so bad! I've started with my son's baby book (the first year) but never get to finish it. He's 18 months already! Plus, my daughter's...only a couple of pages done and she's five months already! Time sure flies! So here I am, in the midst of making cards, trying to squeeze in one or two LOs.

Well, I am one LO closer to finishing my daughter's baby book. I used If The She Fits RDT call LO. I love this LO so I just had to use it! I stamped the pink cardstock with Hero Arts' Hibiscus Style stamp with dark pink, light pink (used as outline for the stitches) and pearl white. I then hand-sewed the light pink flower with green thread, four of them. I tell you, it took some time! But I love the outcome of them! The rest, I simply followed the sketch.

It's Your Birthday

While we were out, I saw this little girl let go of a bunch of balloons by accident. The idea for this card was from that little girl! I have this balloon stamp by Hero Arts for a while but I never seem to be able to use it...because I didn't have any ideas. I guess I probably just didn't think about until I saw those balloons flying up the sky.
This card is for the challenge at Hero Arts and for the Three Clovers Design, challenge #16, card for dad or men.

2 Sketches 4 You is celebrating their 1st anniversary! Happy Anniversary!! Tilda With Cupcake

Another post for today...

I woke up feeling tired so I am not very talkative this morning. I tried something new on this card. I hand drew those swirls with glitter glue. When I took the picture, it was still wet so it looks kind of out of place. But once the glue dried up, it actually looks much better.

Something Hidden Congrats Card

I haven't made any cards with something hidden thus far. So when I saw the theme for this week at Creative Inspiration, I got right on it as soon as I got the chance to work on my crafts. You guess it, their theme is SOMETHING HIDDEN.

On way home from work earlier, I came up with this idea, which is to use this expectant mama image from Modern Sugar Blvd with the "Awww" baby from Hero Arts. The idea is to have the baby hidden underneath this mama and when you pull the tag out, the baby is revealed.
