On the 6th Day of Sketches

Hey!

Okay, I don't think I am going to be able to work on all the sketches over at TGF. It's already Wednesday, my son has been sick since Saturday, I got sick yesterday and now my daughter is sick. If we don't get better soon, we probably will have to cancel our trip! Let's hope we get better soon!

This is my card for the 6th Day of sketches. Nothing special about this one...I simply followed the sketch.....love this cutie pie though!

My son will be two tomorrow and since we already had a little party for him, we are just going to get a small cake and celebrate at home, just the family.

Well, I am going to try to go to bed soon since I am not feeling too well. I could really use some extra sleep.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

La La Land Crafts Challenge #19: How Charming!

Hello, Everyone! It's time for one last challenge for 2009 over at La La Land Crafts! Can you believe? 2010 is just a couple more days away! It has definitely been a wonderful crafting year for me!

Our challenge this week is HOW CHARMING, hosted by our talented Kathy! I don't add charms to my cards often so I am not sure if there are any particular ones just for cards. But since I make jewelry, I have plenty of them and so I just went straight to my bead and stuff box for one! I love hearts so of course, I used a heart charm for this card! :) If I remember correctly, I think the charm is by Blue Moon. I buy a lot of Blue Moon beads.

For this card, I followed the sketch over at Crazy for Challenges. I colored Sitting Lala a while ago and never used her so here she is! I was looking through my stamps to see if I could find a bench or something for Lala to sit on but with no luck. I thought of drawing one but got lazy... So, hmm....Lala doesn't have anything to sit on. Poor girl! She's going to be so tired! lol

Papers are by DCWV (Berry Street, Farmer's Market). I love this stack! Sentiment is by Hero Arts.
I was at Michael's yesterday and Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day stuff are out! My goodness! I am still trying to recover from Christmas!! They do have some really nice Valentine's Day stuff though....lots of heart stuff, which I really love!

Well, Everyone, thank you so much for stopping by today! Just two more days and then I am off! Woohoo!

On the 5th Day of Sketches

Hi! This is my take on the 5th sketches over at TGF. Did you notice? I skipped the 4th sketch! That one is still in the working process. hehe..

The current challenge over at Roses on Papers is to use your favorite coloring medium. Yes, you guess it! My favorite currently is COPIC! I just wish I can afford to get all the colors!

I still got a couple of more DT cards to finish so gotta go! Please come back tomorrow for my La La Land Crafts post! As always, thanks a bunch for stopping by!

On the 2nd Day of Sketches

Hello! Okay, so I am going to TRY to finish all twelve sketches at TGF. This is my second one so far. I know, I have a long way to go but hey, at least I am trying. hehe

Now that Christmas is over, you won't be seeing too many Christmas cards for a while. Aren't you glad? I better you guys are so sick of seeing them! lol I will make one or two here and there...just trying to get a head start since I was late in mailing mine this last Christmas.

I decided to make more THANK YOU cards. They always come in handy. This is a perfect card for the challenge over at Papertake.

Funny how it's always one thing after another.....I am going to be busy with DT cards these next few days. I need to get them done for next week since I will be offline for a few days.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready for a brand new week....just one more week before 2010!!! Are you guys ready??

On the 1st Day of Sketches

Hello, Everyone! Hope everyone had a great Christmas with family and friends! Mine was okay, just the usual....Christmas Eve with the in laws and Christmas Day at my mom's. The kids of course had a great time opening presents. They didn't get that many toys, mostly clothes. I don't usually get toys for kids...unless they are educational toys. Okay, maybe occasionally I get some regular toys.....just not too often. lol

This card is for the 1st sketch at TGF. They are having a 12 days of sketches, thought I play along. I actually did four already but haven't gotten a chance to take pic of them yet. I am entering this card for Crafty Creations with ANYTHING GOES as their theme and Chrisma Cardz for ANYTHING BUT CHRISTMAS.

I am not sure if anyone noticed but I haven't really been around to comment as often. I do apologize for that! With a full time job and two little ones at home, sometimes it's hard for me to get online and craft at the same time. I just want to let everyone know that I am not ignoring you guys. I do try to visit as often as I can. I do hope everyone understands and thank you all for always taking the time to visit my blog and leaving me very encouraging comments. I really appreciate all that. Your feedback means a lot to me and you guys are the ones who keep me going. Thank you so much, Everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Rainy Emma

I know I should be ready for Christmas but I am not! I still haven't wrap all of the presents yet. I think I only did two. :( Man, I have got to get myself together!

I made this card ages ago...never got a chance to post it. Actually, I forgot I save it as draft. lol I used Rainy Emma from Whimsy Stamps, colored her with Copics as usual. Speaking of Copics, how many Copics do you have? I don't have that many unfortunately....

I think I better get of the computer and get going with the wrapping! I have about half an hour to do that before I hit the sack.

Okay then, gotta go! Thanks for stopping by!

Inky Impressions Challenge

Please scroll down for my first post. Thanks!

Hi again! This is my first DT card for the Inky Impressions challenge! For the next two weeks, our theme is to add embossing and glitter, fluff, flock....to your card or project! Easy peasy?

For my card, I used Angelica's Lantern. I used sparkly fluff and dry embossing (folder). I colored this adorable image with Copics. This card is pretty basic because I was trying to send this card out ASAP so I was in a hurry to finish it. Hope the recipient loves it anyway.

For more inspiration, please hop over to Inky Impressions and check out the rest of the awesome creations!

Thanks so much for checking in again!

La La Weekly Wednesday Challenge #18

Hi there! I am hosting this week's challenge over at La La Land Crafts! I am challenging everyone to create ANYTHING BUT A CARD at this busy time of the year! I know, some of you probably think I am nuts! But you know what? Why not challenge yourself before the year ends! :D

When I stamp, I usually stamp a few of the same images and save them for later use. So as you can imagine, I do have quite a few stamped images. So, what better project to make than a box for them! :D

This is actually a recipe box I got from Michael's for $1. I simply covered it with patterned paper, cardstock, images, and voila! Here it is!

I used four different La La Land Crafts stamps for my box: Window Lala, Rosie with Bird, Princess Rosie and Sweet Rosie.

I couldn't decide which picture to share you guys so I am posting all!

This is the top of the box.

This is the front.

Box with all the tabs

Another view of the box

This is one of the tabs

Well, I do hope everyone likes my project and got a little inspiration from it. Now it's your turn! Please hop over to La La Land Crafts and check out the rest of the wonderful creations from our fabulous DTs and play along!

Thanks so much for stopping by, Everyone!

Sweet November Fairies

Happy Birthday, Kaylie! My daughter is a year old today! Yup, and she's such a big girl. hehe We celebrated her birthday and her brother's yesterday. We didn't invite too many people over, just family. So, as you can imagine, we had a hectic weekend and a full house. It was cool...fun. :D

Since today is her actual birthday, hubby got a tiny cake for her and she got to open her presents today. She didn't get to open them yesterday because she was exhausted from being held by so many people!

Have you heard of Sweet November Fairies? These are such adorable stamps by Amy Young of A Thousand Sheets of Paper! You have got to check her blog out! Her creations will blow you away! I guarantee you!! She just recently started her own stamp line and are available for purchase at All That Scraps. I bought this fairy a little while ago but haven't gotten a chance to play with her until now. You know, with the Holiday here, way too busy with too many things.

This is my entry for this week's challenge over at All That Scraps. This is actually my first time playing along their challenges. This week is an easy one, SPARKLY! I used stickle on her hair and used shimmering cardstock! I also used glitter pen for her eye shadow. I even used red tinsel embossing powder for the sentiment!

Hope everyone likes this card. I shall be back soon with more creations! :D

You've Got What It Takes!

Happy Sunday, Everyone! Time for another Pile It On Challenge! This week is an easy one! All you have to do is include at least one digi in your creation. Yup, that's it!

This is a special request card. My co-worker wants a card with everything sweet on it.....candy, cookies, ice cream, cake.... I thought, where on earth can I find an image with everything on it? Well, guess what? My brain! lol I decided to draw one and here it is! I thought it turned out okay but it sure took me forever to color it! I didn't realize it's so detailed!

Anyway, she likes it...all it matters. :D Hope everyone likes it too!

Here are my challenges for this card:

1. Pile It On: Using digi
2. Truly Scrumptious: sketch
3. Little Paper Shop: Honey, you baked...
4. Creative Card Crew: Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by today, Everyone! I am off getting busy with my babies' party.

Bee Crafty Challenge #20 - CIRCLES

Hi! Hi! Did you guys miss me..I mean my posts? :D No, I wasn't making any masterpieces. :( My mojo was gone! Yup, GONE! I haven't been crafting the last few days, okay, maybe two cards....my DT cards.

Oh, can you believe it? Christmas is next week and I still haven't mailed out all my cards!! I guess some of you will be getting your card after Christmas then. Better late than never, right? :D

This card is definitely not the greatest one! I don't even like it much! It's so plain, so simple, so basic! Anyway, this is my DT card for Bee Crafty using CIRCLES as the theme for the next two weeks. I was going to finish my suspension card I started weeks ago but I wasn't in the mood. So, this one will have to do. lol

Well, I got to run (as always). I need to get a bunch of stuff for my babies' birthdays. We are inviting our family over to celebrate their first and second birthdays tomorrow. We are ordering most of the food but I am cooking a few items as well so super super weekend for me.

As always, thank you so so much for stopping by! I truly appreciate each and everyone of you! Thank you, thank you!

K.I.S.S.

Keep It Simple Shaped.....this is the current challenge over at TGF! Well, my card is not that clean and simple. lol

Hello, Everyone! Can you believe it? Christmas is next week!! I am so not ready for it! I am still not done with shopping, have not wrapped one present yet and I still have so much of other stuff to do! Oh boy, what am I going to do??!! The good thing is, I at least put the tree up! Just the tree this year, no other decorations because my son wants to pull everything and my daughter puts everything in her mouth! Even with the tree, they keep taking the ornaments down. I am so glad my ornaments are non-breakable!

I colored Sassy Suzi a little while ago so this was a quickie. I like quickies. :D I am entering this card for a few other challenges as well:

Anyone for Anya: Bling It On
Kraftin' Kimmie: Sparkle, Baby!
Totally Gurjuss: Free and Easy
Friday Sketcher: sketch

Well, everyone, I got to go hop and leave some love. :) Hope you can BLOG HOP by tomorrow for a special La La Land Crafts post! :D

Club Anya Customer Blog Hop

H! It's such an honor to join the Club Anya Customer Blog Hop! First, I apologize for being MIA this last weekend. It's the same reason....taking care of my babies..and boy, are they a handful!

I was scratching my head at first at what I want to make for the blog hop because I wanted to share with everyone some unique projects, things I have not made previously. I ended up with a card plus a couple of others....old and new. lol

Lolli Anya is just too darn cute so I had to use her for one of my Christmas cards.:) She's perfect for that "sweet" someone.
This easel match box was inspired by Cami and Irina. I just adored their boxes so I have to try one for myself! :D
Well, what can I say... I have been making quite a few bracelets lately so I thought, why not make a Christmasy one as well! So here it is! Because Mr. and Mrs. Claus are so big, I used only their heads! This turned out okay, not exactly what I had in mind. I used Siam cube crystal here. I just have to include a jewelry item since I love to make jewelry. lol

This is a carousel with Ians and Anyas. This was inspired by the merry-go-round in the mall. I took my son for the ride. :) The Santa Booth was right next to it so I thought,hhmmm.....Santa needs to have some fun too! :D Yes, it spins!

Well, I hope everyone enjoy looking at my project! Thank you so much for stopping by! Your next stop is GOBEAGIRL. Please visit Club Anya for the complete list of hoppers.

Card/project details:
Stamps: all stamps by The Greeting Farm, computer generated sentiment on the card

Last GDT card for Stampin' Up For The Weekend

Yup, this is my last GDT card for Stampin' Up for The Weekend. This week's theme is another festive card with a color combo: BLUE AND BROWN! I must say, these two colors go well together. I love it! This is another one of my favorites!

This week's challenge is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamps! Heidi is offering one lucky winner $25 to spend in the store! Woohoo! Think of all the crafting goodies you can get! Check out the store! They have a huge variety of goodies!

Photobucket

This is my take on the challenge. I decided to go with a different shape card this time, something different for a change. :D

Is it cold at where you are? Ever since the rain, it has been cold here. FREEZING! I know, it's nothing compare to the snow. But this is LA! I usually can stand the cold weather but I actually have to turn the heater on when I go to work in the morning! Brrrr...

Anyway, enjoy your Friday and I will catch everyone later! I have one more long day at work. It's going to be a busy one. I have been on a rush special assignment these last couple of days and had to put all my own work on hold. So, now I am all behind!

Gift Card Holder

Hello! Hello!

Time sure flies by! Christmas is in about two weeks and I am so not ready for it! I haven't even put my tree up!! I have got to do that this weekend!

Today, we have another wonderful challenge over at La La Land Crafts! Our hostess this week is Lisa! Lisa is challenging us to create a Holiday card or project using PINK and GREEN! I love this combo! You can never go wrong with this combo! They look great together!

Instead of a usual card this week, I decided to make a gift card holder. I actually need a few of these so I will probably be making more!

One of the reasons why I LOVE La La Land Crafts stamps is all the images are so fun and easy to color. Plus, it's so easy to cut out the image! It literally takes no time!

I was surfing and came across this blog (Kelly Chau) and was so inspired by all her wonderful creations! I am also amazed at how professional all her pictures look! I was like "WOW!". She's not only a talented crafter but also a professional photographer!

This gift card holder was inspired by one of Kelly's many creations. For this card, I used Winter Lala. I paper pieced her hat and her jacket and then cut out with round nesties. For the card, it's pretty simple. Determine what card size you want and then go from there. For my card, I used a 5.5 x 12 piece of cardstock. I scored at 2 in, 6 in, 7.5 in, 9 in. I folded and glued the two 1.5 inches panels together and then used a large rectangle nesties to cut out the slot for the gift card. This card measures approximately 5.5 inches x 4 inches. For the little belt, I cut a ¾ strip of cardstock and glue a ribbon in the center. I then glue my image to it.

I am entering this card holder for these challenges as well since it fits their current challenges.

1. Kraftin' Kimmie: A Gift Card Holder
2. The Pink Elephant: Your favorite Color Combo. I have a few favs. Pink and green is one of them.
3. Crazy for challenges: Gift card holder

We hope everyone can play alogn with us at La La Land Crafts! For more inspirations, please check out OUR BLOG!
Card Details:
Stamps: Winter Lala (La La Land Crafts), Sentiment (Hero Arts)
Paper: The Paper Company, K&Company
Ink: Copic, Cat's Eyes
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools/Others: Corner punch, nesties
Thanks so much for stopping by Everyone! Enjoy your day!
