My Friend

This is in second post for today, please scroll for the first. Thanks!

I made this card for Club Anya's challenge, I Want to be JUST Like....PAM VERNELL! We are to CASE her card for this challenge. This was a speedy card for me. It took me about an hour only, color, cute, choosing the right paper, and everything else. I was amazed at myself too! hehe Plus, the card cam out not bad I must say. hehe Well, maybe because Pam's LO is so nice and easy to follow. It could also be that this is a much smaller card the my others. This card measures 4 x 5.5, not very big.

Card Details:

Stamp: TGF, Dressy Anya

Paper: GCD, The Paper Company cardstock

Ink: Copic, Memento

Embellishment: Ribbon, heart clip

Hope you like my card and as always, thank you so much for stopping by!

Have you tried digital paper yet?

If you haven't, you've got to try! Digital papers are so much cheaper, do not take up room at all, you can use it as many times as you want, you can even paper piece with a digital image using Photoshop or other similar software, you can edit the colors of your papers, you can resize them to your needs, etc, etc. There are endless possibilities! Can you tell I am a total supporter of Digital Paper? :)

Our challenge at Bee Crafty for the next two weeks is USING DIGITAL PAPERS and guess what, we have a sponsor, CUPCAKECARDS AND CRAFTS! Check out their site! They have tons of digital papers to choose from, at a very low price too! Please visit Bee Crafty to find out how you can play along and win some digital paper and one of Bee Crafty's download! Check out the new release too!

A "Tilda" Christmas

Good evening, Everyone!

I am slowly making Christmas cards. I am still sticking to my own challenge. :) Tonight, I decided to use this Tilda image Denise sent me a while ago. Who doesn't love Tilda, right? She's just the cutest darn thing! Hmmm...maybe I should get a couple of them. Maybe I'll get a few for my birthday. :) Gotta get myself a present, you know. lol I like to reward myself sometimes. hehe

What do you think of my card? I torn up the paper a little...okay, maybe a lot. lol I think this is the first time I torn up this much of the paper on a card. I must say, I am pretty pleased with it! Being a new cardmaker, I didn't really know how to distress. I mean, I never took any classes. Maybe I should check out some tutorials. I mainly learn from looking at all your work. I tell you, everyone of you give me so much inspiration! Anyway, I basically used a ruler and started tearing the paper. So fun! :)

Hmmm, let me see how many challenges I can fit my card into.....
1. Allsort: sketch plus torn edge.
2. Copic Creations: Red, pink, heart. I hope a little blue is okay.
3, Rubbernecker Stamps: Bling
4. C.R.A.F.T: Embossing

Card Details:

Stamp: Magnolia

Paper: DCWV, The Paper Company

Embellishment: Ribbon, gems

Ink: Copic, Memento, Color Box Cat's Eye, Sakura opal white pen

Tools/Others: embossing folder, embossing powder

Dressy Anya and some exciting News!

This is my second post for today. Please scroll down for the first.

I made this one for The Greeting Farm sketch challenge. I was experimenting my Copic. :) This is my attempt at coloring black hair. It turned out okay but I think i can do better. I will practice more. :)

This card is also for these challenges:
1. Caardvark: Black, white, hot pink
2. Stampin Up for the Weekend: pink and grey. Hope this counts. I actually started off with just pink and grey but it looked too plain so I added a piece of black.

And for the exciting news....
As you know, I am currently a Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps, for August. Denise, owner of Whimsy Stamps asked me to be a full time DT! Of course I said yes! :) I have a lot of fun coloring her images this past month. Plus, the Design Team just rocks! Woohoo!!

Life is Sweeter...

This is my second post for today. Please scroll down for the first.

I made this card for the Hero Arts' Mail It Challenge. That was an easy challenge. When I was making this card, I didn't follow any sketches. I usually don't follow a sketch when I play along Hero Arts challenges. After I was done with the card, it's actually similar to the sketch over at CPS! So of course, I am going to enter my card for that challenge as well. hehe I did, however, used the color combo challenge over at Secret Crafter, which is turquoise and brown.

I realized I don't make a lot of "Just Because" or "Friendship" cards so I will be making more of those as well. So now I have a few challenges for myself: make Xmas cards, Friendship cards and use up all the scraps.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hero Arts

Paper: scraps

Ink: Copic, Versa Magic

Embellishment: ribbon, gems

Tools/Others: border punch, nesties

Thanks for stopping by!

To be a Star.../Freebie

Hi again! I am sharing one more card with everyone tonight. I made this for the Hero Arts sketch challenge last week. Gosh, I haven't played along their challenges in weeks! Shame on me!!! Plus, I still haven't used my gift certificate for winning first place yet. I tell you, I am so behind with stuff these days! I always do things the last minute! Well, the good thing is, I always manage to get my stuff in on time! hehe

I have piles and piles of scraps so for this card, that was what I used. It seems it's so easy to just get a new sheet and start the project. Plus, I don't like going through that big pile of scraps. But it's so wasteful not to use them though. Anyway...

I made this quote on Photoshop. Feel free to use it if you like it. Just right click and save to your PC.

I am also entering my card for:
1. Pile It On: Masculine card. Well this card is pretty neutral. So it fits this theme.
2. Cute Daisy May: The Word. Use sentiment as the main focal point.

Card Details:

Stamp: Hero Arts, computer generated sentiment

Papers: DCWV Glitter stack, The Paper Company

Ink: Memento

Embellishments: Hemp cord, button, swirl gems

Tools/Others: Nesties

Thanks for stopping by!

Funky Miss Anya

This is my 4th post for today. Please scroll down for more.

I made this one for Club Anya's Crazy Hair Challenge. I used Miss Anya (Rain) and slightly altered her. I altered her hair and removed her umbrella. Doesn't Miss Anya look funky with her new hairdo and in green? hehe The inspiration of altering TGF images came from Amy of A Thousand Sheets of Paper. I love how she alters TGF images so I thought I would give it a try.

I am also entering this card for The Fresh Batch, for this easy to use sketch.
