Last DT Card for Crafty Muse
This is my last DT card for Crafty Muse. It is with great sadness that Sammi, owner of Crafty Muse is unable to continue this challenge blog due to other commitments. I've enjoyed working with Sammi and the rest of the team the last couple of months.
This last challenge is a sketch (plus doodling somewhere in your creation) designed by team member, Sarah. We would love for you to join us one last time and there will be some fab prize for the winner!

It's All About Shopping!
I made this card for the Club Anya's Club Couture challenge and it didn't come out the way I hoped. It looks kind of weird. I don't know, I can't explain it. I am really not sure about this one. What do you think?
Well, what's done is done so I am posting this anyway. I share some of my nicer work so why not some not-so-good ones. lol
Thanks for looking!

Friends are like Flowers + FREEBIE!
I am so into The Greeting Farm lately! Linda sent me some stamped images a few weeks ago and I just love the Miss Anya collection so much! I put an order in and it came the very next day! Wow! You will be seeing a lot of these stamps. :D
I was giving my blog a makeover yesterday and was all into the computer so I played around some more today. For today's card, I used one of my own drawings along with Miss Anya. I like the 3D effects so I used sticky foams and "pop" Miss Anya, her basket, a couple of the flowers and the butterfly. I made the sentiment myself as well, using Photoshop. Since this card is about friendship and friends are about sharing, I decided to give everyone the flower and sentiment to play with. So, if you like it, feel free to use them. Don't forget to link me your creation so I can check it out! I would love to see what you come up with!
I know, you are probably wondering what are the challenges this card is for. lol Here they are:
1. The Greeting Farm: Fluttery Floral. Oh you have got to check out their site! They are releasing a new set of Miss Anya (Dressy set)!
2. Roses on Paper: Challenge 17, A Little Love (hearts)
3. Friday Sketchers: the sketch
4. Cute Daisy May: Friends
5. Daring Cardmakers: On the Edge

New Template!
I didn't make anything today so I don't have anything to share. I did, however, changed my template. Did you notice? Do you like it? I have been working on it for hours! I know it's probably an easy task for some of you but not me. I don't know much about computer so I had to play around a little. Plus, I couldn't make up my mind on whether I want a two column or a three column, so I was switching back and forth. LOL I knew I wanted a top menu so I added that. Like it? :D
Anyway, I have a few projects I need to finish before the end of the week so I better quit playing around for now.
Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Fold
I tried something new with today's card. I incorporated two gate-folded cards into one! The actual size of this card is 6x6. Yup, pretty big.
I colored this Sarah Kay image a while back, probably about three weeks ago for the Stampaive challenge but never finished it. For this card, I followed the sketch at Truly Scrumptious, a very fun one. Once the card is opened, a 5.5 x 5.5 gated-folded card is revealed. This idea came from the challenge over at Whimsy Stamps, Fun Fold. I was watching TV last night and this idea just came to mind so of course, I worked on it right away before I forget. Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!

Challenges:1. Whimsy Stamps: Challenge 11, Fun Fold
2. Truly Scrumptious: the sketch
3. Cute Card Thursday: Eye Eye

These are the two cards I made yesterday for the Hero Arts website inspired challenge. I didn't get a chance to play the week before because my babies were sick. I mentioned last month that I would have one this month. This month is almost over!! I apologize for taking my sweet time to post this and I thank everyone for waiting patiently. To make it up, I am going to add an additional item at every 30th comment! I like to make things fun so I am going to give a little prize for the 1st, 5th, 15th, 25th person to comment on this post to start off. Please continue to read on for all the details. (I'll tryto keep this short. :D)
Okay, the reason for this candy... I have been in blog land for a little over three months now and I am loving it! During these few months, I have learned a lot from so many talented crafters out there...you guys! I have gotten a lot of inspiration from your creations, all so beautiful! Also, I want to thank everyone who visits me with all the nice, sweet comments. I enjoying reading every single one of them.
Also, I've joined a lot of challenges and enjoyed every one of them these few months. I have been lucky enough to win a few things here and there. I even won a blog candy a little while ago!Plus, for the most important part (:D), I am very thankful for Sammi at Crafty Muse and Bee at Bee Crafty to give me an opportunity to gain some DT experience. This means a lot to me. I know they have a lot of choices and I thank them for choosing me to be a part of their design team. Thanks Sammi, Bee! They both are very talented and nice! So this little candy is my way of thanking everyone!
When I was shopping for this candy, I really didn't know what to get because I am sure everyone has everything already. So, I simply went to the two stores (Michaels and Joanns) I usually go to and got whatever caught my eyes at the time. Here is a not-so-good picture of the goodies.
I was talking to my friend the other about my candy and she generously donated six charms to include onto the pile of goodies! she is just so wonderful! She has a cell phone accessory online store, emaxcell.com. She carries practically all the brands out there for cell phones, Apple, Blackberry, LG, Samsung, Nokia, etc. Check it out! Prices are very reasonable and the best part is, FREE SHIPPING!
Okay, let the fun begin!
1. You DO NOT need to be a follower.
2. Spread the word about this candy on your blog with a link to my blog, perhaps your sidebar and leave a comment on this post. The 1st, 5th, 15th, 25th person to comment on this post will get a cell phone charm from emaxcell.com plus a little something extra....
3. Join a Crafty Muse challenge before the end of this candy, gets another chance. Leave a second comment on this post with a link to your project for Crafty Muse. I love to see your creation!

Sisters by Chance, Friends by Choice
For my card, I used strawberry patterned paper. I use Crafty Muse's new collection, Sister and Friend. The sentiment is computer generated which says "Sisters by Chance, Friends by Choice". I followed the sketch from Mojo Monday. Love it! It was so easy to put together! Since Simon Says Stamps' challenge is summer fruits, I might as well submit my card for that too! :D
Have fun creating and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I Love Making Birthday Cards!
I had a really busy weekend. I didn't get to craft much. I finally went to traffic school this past Saturday. It was actually okay, it wasn't as boring as I thought it would be. I actually enjoyed. I learned quite a few things. Then on Sunday, I went to that stamp show in Carson. It wasn't what I expected but I did get a couple of things. My hubby went with me because he wanted to see what it's like. Well, it's only fair that he did since I usually go to the jewelry shows with him in Vegas. Anyway, on to this card....
I bought this WOJ stamp a little while ago and haven't really gotten a chance to ink it. I love WOJ stamps too. It's the style I love actually. I have a few more so you will be seeing them soon too. :D
I didn't intend to cut the image out originally but because I messed up while using the Cuttlebug, I cut it out and so the whole layout was different than what I had in mind.
This card is for the following challenges:
1. Whiff Of Joy: the sketch.
2. Cute Daisy May: Three of a kind. I have three of the same flowers.
3. Stamp Something: Color combo - pink, green, yellow
4. Crystal's Crafty Creations: My blogging friend, Crystal is celebrating her 10,000 hit and she is having a blog candy with a twist. All you have to do is be a follower and leave her a comment that you've linked her candy. For a second chance, make a celebration card. Check it out! And while you are there, check out her blog! She got some really beautiful, inspirational creations! You won't be disappointed!!

What an EYE CANDY!!!
I thought it would be a change to try something different on my cards. So here it is, a black and white card with a drawing I downloaded from http://www.twilightblog,.net/. This card is pretty simple but I was struggling with it for some reasons. The sentiment is computer generated which reads, "CULLEN BOYS" and on the inside reads, "because they don't make them like that anymore". I made this card into a folder. Folder cards come in handy. Enjoy everyone!
This card is for the following challenges:
1. The Sweet Stop: the sketch
2. Cupcake Craft Challenge #7: Black and White
3. Pollycraft: Arrow
4. A spoon Full of Sugar: Hearts. I used heart buttons

Supplies:

I haven't done much (crafting) this week, just colored a bunch of images for different challenges. I will try to put them in cards soon. I think I kind of lost my mojo. :( Can everyone please help me get it back?
I am using Tilda again. :D I just love them! They are just too cute!
This card is for a few challenges:
1. Simon Says Stamps: Paper Piecing.

Exciting News to Share
I can't wait to work with all the talented DT at Pile It On!
Photo Card
Time just flies by so fast. It's another week and Tuesday already! Where does the time go? Last week, Hero Arts had a really cool challenge, PHOTO CARD. This is definitely my first photo card. I know it's similar to a scrapbook page but this is a CARD. It's perfect too since I needed to make a card for my mom's bday. A photo card makes it even more personal, precious, don't you think?
The picture of my son and daughter was taken about a week ago. I made this card on Sunday while they were napping and of course didn't get to post then. Oh, trying to take a picture them together is HARD! This is the only good picture of them together so far. Well, they are little, what do I expect, right? :D
This card fits the following challenges:
1. Pile It On: 3 embellishments
2. Whimsy Stamp: Birthdays
3. The Next Level: Buttons and bows
4. Charisma Cardz: Button
5. Dutch Dare: the sketch
6. Creative Card Crew: ribbons

A2 Box
Sorry, I have been MIA for a few days. As I mentioned in my previous post, my daughter has been sick. She had high fever and two blisters so she literally couldn't eat or swallow. Her temperature is normal now but it will take another few days for the blisters to go away. But my son (I think he got it from my daughter) still has the high fever since last night. So if you have kids, you can imagine how worried, how stressful these last few days has been for me and my hubby. We practically had/have no sleep. Anyway....
I made this A2 box since last week but haven't gotten a chance to post until now. I made some cards to go with it but forgot to take picture of them. Oh well... Maybe I will share those some other time.
Once again, I made a ribbon rose. They are just so easy to make. Maybe I am going to make a bunch and share some. :D Hmm...maybe I'll randomly select from my followers. Or if you would like to have a couple, let me know....by email, comment, whatever. I'll send you some.
Okay, for this easy breezy box, I managed to cover a few challenges.
1. Project Tuesday. I think I am late for this challenge. But I have a great time making this box and thank you so much for the wonderful, easy tutorial. I think I am going to link some tutorials on my blog. The ones I like.
2. Stamps and Smiles: This fun sketch.
3. Paperplay Challenge: Paper Roses "Use a flower (or flowers) on your project, but they can't be bought flowers, you have to make them yourself!!!" I know I didn't make my flower with papers. I thought I would submit it and share anyway.
4. DU2DS: Emboss. Yup, I used my embossing folder here.
Supplies:Papers: DCWV Citrus Stack patterned paper, DCWV Spring Cardstock
Sentiment: digiment
Ink: Momento dew drop (new sprout)
Ennoblement: ribbon, gem brad
Tools/Other: Cuttlebug, embossing folder, circle punch
Thanks for stopping by! As always, I love to know what you think and appreciate your comments.

First DT card for Bee Crafty and Sneak Peek
This is my first DT card for Bee Crafty. Woohoo, I am still so excited as a part of Bee's team!
It's Bee Crafty Challenge #8, Things With Wings. I used this cute FAIRY ANGEL FLOATING from Bee's many adorable downloads. I am still loving the paper piecing technique so I did little on the angel's dress. Isn't she adorable in pink?
I am entering this card for:
1. The Next Level. This wonderful sketch. I have been meaning to join their challenges but have not gotten around to it. If you haven't check out their blog, you have got to! Their blog is absolutely "THE NEXT LEVEL"! You have to check it out yourself!!
2. Flutter By Wednesday. It's open theme this week, anything with butterfly or fairy. I love both!
3. Crafty Creations: Celebration. Birthday is definitely a celebration.
4. Cute Card Thursday. Stitch in Time. I have faux stitches. :D
In two weeks, Bee will be releasing so more "Whimsical Girls". You don't want to miss them! They are the cutest thing! When I saw them, I was like OMG! Here is a little peek at one of them. :D

Another Fun Challenge at Crafty Muse!
We have another wonderful sketch (include ribbon and brads) for you to follow for the next two weeks at Crafty Muse. Isn't it great? Sarah, my team mate, designed it!
My card is featuring Angelique sitting on cupcake, one of Crafty Muse's many lovely downloads. I did a little paper piecing (raised it with sticky form as well) on the cupcake to make the card "pop" a little. Has anyone tried paper piecing with digi images? I don't think I've seen any yet. Anyway, all I did was print the image on patterned paper and cut out the part I needed to piece. Very simple. :)
I find this sketch a little challenging but I am happy with how my card turned out. So if you are in for a challenge, hop on over to Crafty Muse and while there, check out the rest of the wonderful DT creations for more inspiration!
Hope everyone likes this card. Thank you so much for looking and stopping by!
